*** Hey guys, if anyone who ever reads this is good at photoshop would they maybe be able to make a cover for this??? I was thinking either a girl surrounded by a bunch of hot guys or a BA looking girl with long red hair with the title written over the top. Thank you so much for reading!!***

Kevin looked back and forth between Trix and I for a second, apparently lost. Trix had been in my gang, and she was the equivalent of a right hand man to me, her and I had fought together countless times. It had been hard leaving her back in Chicago.

If someone saw Trix, the last thing they would think was gang member, because of her bubbly, almost childish personality. She had blonde hair that she cut short into a pixie cut and died the tips green. That's where she had gotten the nickname, Trix. It seemed suitable for such a fairy-like person.

"Head of a gang?" Kevin said slowly.

"Yeah that's what I said, are you deaf?" Trix turned to him, annoyed. "Can you leave I want to talk to Scar." Instead of waiting for his response, she shoved him out the door and closed it. She turned to me, smile wide. "Scar! It's been way too long." I was going to have some explaining to do when I talked to Kevin next.

"Hey Trix! What are you doing here?" I loved Trix, but seeing her here instead of in Chicago was disorienting.

"Oh, I am going to this college now. My parents paid for it." Trix's parents had a ton of money. It seems odd that a rich girl like that would be in the gang, but I knew it was mostly just for her personal enjoyment. Her parents were probably just glad she had decided to go to college at all.

"Whoa, why?"

"Because you're here of course." She ran over to give me a hug. It was a crushing bear hug and pain shot through my arm. I tensed up and she noticed. "What's wrong?"

Since Trix was part of my gang, it was no new ordeal for her to see anyone injured so I showed her. Pulling my sleeve up, I unwrapped the bandages almost all the way. The bleeding had still not quite stopped and Trix's bear hug probably did not help in the least. She winced when she saw it; my flesh was pretty detached from the bone and blood slowly beaded up around the wound.

"Knife?"

"Yep." I nodded.

"Shit, this need stitches. How are you going to manage that?"

"I'm not entirely sure. I may just do them myself. If you're able to help me that would be great."

"Sure, but jeez Scar I thought you came here to get away from that stuff. What the hell?"

"Some guys from my dorm were in deep shit and I had to do something. The other guy's in worse shape than I am."

"God we are apart for a month and look what you've done to yourself." She rolled her eyes and sighed.

I started talking before she could chastise me further, "So anyway, you just suddenly transferred into this college just because you missed me?"

"Mhmm! Good thing too, seems like you get in as much trouble here as you did back home. Plus, everyone else wanted to know how you're doing too."

"How is everybody, speaking of which?" 'Everybody' referred to the fellow members of our gang. Everyone in the group was like a family to me, much more so than my actual family.

"Well, everybody misses you a ton. Currently the gang still doesn't have a leader because no one else really has the balls, so everyone is being pretty idle. We all don't know what to do with ourselves when you're gone."

I smiled, "Well it would have ended eventually anyway. Maybe it's for the best. Do you think that they'll break up permanently?"

"Nah, they're too close. It's really more like a family than anything. They might not continue being a gang, but they'll stay together for some reason or another." It was true, a lot of the people in the gang were in the gang because their home situation wasn't great, and the group became like the family they never had.
