I Poisoned Our Mother Chapter 12

While Shadow was holding you in his arms, he noticed something that was happening outside.

Shadow slowly got up and walked towards the window to look outside.

"What's wrong Shadow?" You got up and looked outside and gasped as you saw explosions and distance fire. You looked at Shadow worried.

"There's a war going on." Shadow said.

"We need to stop them." Y/N said as Shadow nodded. You and Shadow ran outside as fast as you can.

Meanwhile during the war, the Kings and the Knights continued to battle each other. The Light King glared at Mephiles.

"Give me back my daughter!"

"I told you! I don't have her!"

"Yes you do! The black and red Prince of Darkness stole her!"

"What!? My son would never do such thing!"

"And we would never kill your wife!"

"But I'll kill you!"

"Stop!" They both turned their heads and saw you and Shadow running towards them. Once they arrived, they faced their fathers.

"Dad! Don't do this!" Y/N said.

"Don't hurt them dad." Shadow said.

"Y/N. Get out of my way." D/N said. "They need to pay for destroying my Kingdom."

"But it's not their fault. It's ours." Y/N said.

"We're in love." The Knights heard this and stopped attacking each other.

"What!?" Shadow looked at you and held your hand gently. You smiled a little and then looked at them.

"We love each other dad. And we never want to lose each other. If you can't accept that, then we will never stop trying to be together." Y/N said. Everyone looked at each other.

"Who else knows about this?" Mephiles asked.

"I did sire." Sonic said as he stepped forward.

"Me too." Tails said as he did the same thing.

All of your friends and Shadow's friends stepped forward. The Kings were shocked.

"I don't know what to say." D/N said.

"Please dad. Stop this war. Can't we have things back the way they were?" Everyone looked at each other.

Suddenly, Scourge jumped in and grabbed Y/N, covering your mouth.

"Mmm! Mmm!"

"Y/N!" Right before Shadow could save you, someone kicked Shadow in the face making him fall towards the ground. Everyone gasped as they saw this. Shadow turned his head and saw a mobian wearing a black cloak.

"Who are you?"

"Oh you don't know me? We've lived together our whole lives." Shadow widened his eyes as he realized who it was. The mobian took off the cloak to reveal that it was Sanctum.

"Sanctum!?"

"That's my name. I'm sick and tired of you of getting in the way! I should of gotten rid of you a long time ago just like mom!" Shadow froze for a minute.

"What do you mean?"

"You don't know do you? The Light Kingdom didn't kill our mother. I did! I poisoned our mother!" Everyone gasped.
