Running Away Chapter 4

Later that night, You grabbed your things and looked out your window, making sure that no one is around.

You opened the window quietly and jumped out the window, landing softly. You got past the guards and left the Light Kingdom.

"I can't believe I made it through! Now I just have to be careful and I'll make it to the Dark Kingdom for sure!" Y/N smiled as you began to run. 

Meanwhile in the Dark Kingdom, Shadow was walking down the hall until Sanctum arrived.

"Dad wants to see you."

"Tell him that I'm busy."

"I would but he wants to see you now and it's important."

"Fine..." Shadow said as he walked past him. Sanctum followed him. While Mephiles was waiting patiently, as Shadow and Sanctum walked in.

"Hello Shadow."

"Hello father."

"I found him so..."

"One minute Sanctum."

"What is it father?"

"You know that you're becoming King soon right?"

"Yeah?"

"Dad. You said I would..."

"Pretty soon you'll have to find a Queen."

"I know but I'm not ready for that just yet."

"I understand and I'm not rushing you but when the time comes, you need to find one."

"I understand."

"Dad..."

"Not now Sanctum. You're free to go Shadow."

"Thanks." Shadow said as he walked away.

"So what did you need Sanctum?" Mephiles asked. Sanctum stayed quiet for a while until he finally answered.

"Nevermind." Sanctum walked away. Mephiles shrugged as he began to relax.

Meanwhile with Shadow and Sanctum, Sanctum walked passed Shadow feeling angry. Shadow looked at him.

"What's with you?" Shadow asked.

"Everytime I try to talk to dad, he never listens. He's always paying attention to you."

"Again, don't blame me." Sanctum growled as he walked away. Shadow rolled his eyes and walked towards the training room.
