"And, yeah, that pretty much sums it up." Petra finished her story of how they had bested the dreaded Wither Storm and how Aiden threw them into the past.

"Wow," was all Lukas said, he had suddenly become very interested in his feet.

Petra shifted uncomfortably, waiting for him to say that she was insane. This was a lot to take in, and Lukas was a logical thinker.

"Jesse... she-she died?" Lukas inquired, locking eyes with his friend.

It was now Petra's turn to stare at her shoes. "I-I think we might be able to stop that."

"OK, time out." Lukas said, shaking his head. "Petra, are you sure you're OK?"

"I-" Petra started and was suddenly cut off by distant... talking.

Lukas glanced at Petra, obviously unsure of what the noise was. He drew a small bow from a sling on his back and advanced back toward the door. Petra drew her sword. She didn't remember what this moment was or when this had happened the first time.

Not exactly knowing where she was going, and how to navigate the temple, she ran down the corridor where Lukas had gone. Feeling she was almost to the front door, she heard arrows escaping from a bowstring and a dying moan of a creeper. Now her curiosity was piqued, and she wondered if there was more monsters. Running faster now, much to her surprise, she heard something she never thought she would hear again.

"Jesse? Is that you?"

Petra froze. She had seen Jesse die. She had heard her last breath escape from her lips. She had felt her hand fall, lifeless, away from her own. No one, not even The Order of the Stone could come even close to resurrecting the dead, let alone Aiden and his pack of jerks. But here she was, listening to Lukas address her dead friend.

A sweet, soft voice broke into Petra's shock. "Lukas, you built all this?" said the voice Petra knew all too well.
