The week had gone quicker than ever. I suppose I had been busy though I spent Monday buying a tree and visiting the garden centre I do love their festive section. Tuesday I decorated the tree and listened to christmas music all day long. Wednesday christmas card writing and a few of my favourite christmas films. Thursday the present wrapping began and I made some Christmas Cupcakes. Then today it's Friday and I plan on having a relaxed day. Pyjamas, christmas cupcakes  and christmas films. All before getting ready for ice skating tonight. The evening began to take over the sky. I got changed into warmer clothes. "Right I'm ready let's drive to the rink." I said to myself. The air was crisp and chilly as I stepped out the door. It didn't take long to drive to the ice rink. I parked and saw James wave in my direction, I waved back. I wandered over and smiled. He returned the smile "You ready for ice skating?" He asked me. I simply nodded. I followed him in and we rented out our ice skates. I stood up and wobbled slightly. James stood up with ease. We walked towards the entrance. He stepped on first, followed by me carefully walking on. I held on to the rail and tried to skate. James was gliding on by. "Come on it's not hard." He teased. I slowly began skating towards him. The rink was empty apart from us. I finally caught up with him. We skated round together. I was speeding up a little then I fell. James caught me and we laughed. Everything felt right. I looked up at him he looked down at me. We came in closer and kissed in the light of the stars skating on a winters night. We both said nothing but smiled and remained in each others arms before continuing to skate with a smile on our faces.
