It had been a couple of days since James and I kissed for the first time. Though it was still nothing official. We texted and facetimed a lot. Later on that day James texted me.

"Hey,
Wondered in you fancied meeting for a coffee sometime soon. Like a date? Let me know, speak soon. James x"

I had to read it twice to even believe that's what the text said. I texted back within 2 minutes of receiving the text.

"Hi a date sounds good. Where do you want to meet?" X

A got a reply immediately.

"Coffee tomorrow at Costa at 11am?" Xx

"It's a date Xx" I replied instantly.

A warm tingling feeling spread through my body and a smiled spread across my face. Until tomorrow I whispered as I sunk into my sofa. It was now the 10th of December so only 15 days till Christmas, this was turning out to be a better Christmas time than I thought.

The next day came around before I had the chance to blink, I wasn't complaining though. I wore my black jeans and mustard yellow jumper with black boots. I put my purse and phone in my bag. Before rushing down to Costa. I walked in, the wasn't too busy for Costa and few people sat at tables and about 4 people in a queue. I saw James he was sat at the back by the window on a table. He saw me and waved, I waved back and started to walk towards him. As got closer he said to me "You look amazing." He just looked at me before gesturing towards the empty chair. "Thanks you don't look to bad yourself." I joked. He looked amused. He'd already ordered me a coffee and as I looked down I noticed it wasn't dusted like a usual snowflake it was  instead a heart. I then realised he asked them to do that. It made me feel so happy. We talked for at least an hour. I didn't realise how much we had to talk about, until neither one of us have nothing to say. "So.... I wanted to ask you something." James told me. I just raised my eyebrows. He understood and continued. "I'm just going to say it. I have been having feelings for you and I know they're true. Everytime I see you my heart lights up. So would you be my girlfriend, I know it's a bit sudden but we see each other lots and text so much. There is no other way to say this is really love you and I hope you feel the same way." He told me with doubt. I was taken aback with what he just said. I looked stunned for a moment. Before replying to James, "I've been feeling the same way since the day you walked into the cafe, of course I'll be your girlfriend." He laughed and smiled. We both stood up and hugged. We both said I love you at the exact same time before kissing. Nothing had ever felt more right.
