Autumn was officially here. The days have gotten shorter and October breeze made it colder.

Life has been going fine on Gerard's part. Yeah, Frank still bothered and taunted him, but it wasn't something that got to him anyways. School was going smoothly as well, he's been passing his tests and has good grades.

It was a regular day for Gerard. He always does the same thing every morning. Except freak out when his mom scares him to wake him up.

He gets out of bed, showers, brushes his teeth, gets changed, eats, walks to school with Mikey, nothing new.

He walked to school and sat on the bench under the tree. Robert stuck with him all morning, since he was early for a change.

The bell rang and everyone stampede their way to class. Gerard looked down at the ground, a bad habit he acquired from his brother. It never gave him any problems, until suddenly he felt someone bumped into him. Both of them fell to the ground, making a loud thud. Gerard quickly processed what happened and got up.

"Hey, are you-"

He said with his hand out, but quickly recognized the kid. The person stood up and looked at Gerard straight into his soul.

"You should really watch where you're going, idiot."

"Watch your mouth, Pete. Don't you test me this early. It was an accident. I didn't mean to bump into you." Gerard clapped back, you can hear the irritation in his voice.

"That wasn't an accident. You are just way too stupid to look where you're walking." Pete got closer to him, stating he was superior than him. Gerard wasn't very tall compared to Pete but he was ready if anything happened.

This dilema drew a crowd of students, some talking to each other, others watching to catch what would happen next.

Both of them stared at each other for a good solid second. Pete had fury in his eyes while Gerard had fear. He shook slightly, but stood firm. "You aren't actually going to hit me, tough guy. Remember what happened last time you did? You're lucky they didn't kick you out."

Pete suddenly formed a fist and threw the first punch, right in Gerard's lip. He felt his mouth pounding, his jaw was in utter pain.

The crowed ooh'ed and aww'ed.

Gerard threw the second punch, around his cheek area. Pete didn't fall back completely, and he took this to his advantage and punched him again in the gut. The crowd was going wild, cheering and recording the fight, telling them where to hit and to dodge.

Gerard had lost almost all his strength, he used it all on those two hits, and he wasn't strong in general. He felt weak, his arms and hands hurt terribly, his face felt sore and his legs shook as he could barely stand. Pete was able to get another blow at him at the stomach, as he to seemed to be distress.

Some students alerted the staff, since a teacher came to the scene running and broke up the fight. Students boo'ed as the fight stopped and might have gotten better, but they did need to get to class soon. The halls quickly cleared and the first-period bell rang.

"Well, well. It's none other than these two. It's barely been a month into school and you're already fighting? You're going to be in big trouble, boys." Said the teacher, visibly annoyed. Pete rolled his eyes and tried to clear off the blood from his face and Gerard continuously felt his lip as he pulled them all the way to the principal's office.
