The people who didn't know Percy personally were shocked to think that the great hero of Olympus would die so soon. The rest knew he wasn't unstoppable- but they didn't expect him to die so soon. Expect for a few.
Grover knew he would be dead if Percy was dead. He knew death hadn't come over Percy. Grover silently backed away from the crowd. He knew something was wrong, but he knew for sure that one thing that was wrong. Why has Percy been declared dead? There must be some reason. And Grover knows he has to find out.
Nico doesn't believe Percy is dead. No way. He would have sensed something. Anything. When Bianca died he felt something, but he didn't know what it meant at the time. Now over time leading to harness his powers he can tell when someone close to him dies. Nico never felt anything. So why are they lying? Then it occurred to him that if Percy was murdered- Grover would be dead also. Nico whipped his head around searching for Grover's face. His eyes pointed in all directions until he saw the back of a satyr galloping away.
'Grover...'
Nico shadow traveled to the other side in front of whispered to each other.
The gods had their time of lies well
