Michelle sits in the classroom. Arts always was her favorite subject, but this year with only small drawing projects only has boring so far. She just hopes the new project is something interesting.

Jake is sitting on the other side of the class. He is studying Michelle, who is as always making doodles in her notebook. Next to her is Daisy, actually paying attention to the teacher and the class.

In front of alles of them the teacher finally finished naming all the grades.

"Alright class! Now you guys know your grade for the previous project, I'm going to explain the next project!

In this project you will be working in duo's. And no, I see all of you looking at your friends, but you won't get to decide them. I have already made pairs.

For the project you will be making an artwork of your own decided kind. You can't just make a simple doodle and put that in, I want to now the following things:
Why you choose this style
Why you choose this technic
Why you choose this way of turning it in
The inspiration for the artwork
How the working togheter went
What you want to do better next time"

The teacher takes a deep breath and continues.

"The pairs are on the board. Go sit togheter please. Decide when you are going to work on the project and get some idea's. I want these finished in two months, on ten - eleven. Clear?"

All student nod and look on the board. The teacher smiles pleased. Michelle and Jake look too.

"Shit. I'm partners with Fia. You know, that girl in the back?" Daisy rants to Michelle. She nods, not really paying attention as she's still searching for her own name on the board. "Who's your parter?"

Finally she sees her name.

Michelle Jones and Jake White.

Michelle sighs as she looks at Jake, he's already motioning for her to come there. "Jake." She says, "See you later, I guess."
"See you."

Michelle gathers her stuff and walks to Jake.

"Hey." She says
"Hey."

Michelle sits down next to Jake and they just look at each other.

"So what are we going to make?" He finally asks.
Michelle smiles shy. "Can we try something with grafitti?"
"You like that?" He looks suprised.
"Yeah, espescially the ones the Spirit Animals made, but they stopped a long time ago." She opens a small sketch book. The first pages are all pictures of grafitti, and like she said, mostly the Spirit Animals grafitti.

"Holy shit."
Jake looks trough the pages, and as he comes further in the book, he sees less pictures and more drawings.

Michelle blushes as Jake is noticible impressed.

"You made these drawings?" He asks
"Who else should've made them?" She anwsers.
"True." He says. "And yeah, we can do something with grafitti. Have you ever painted one of these?"
"No. But I want to do it trough."
"Good thing I have then."

She looks suprised. "Didn't expect that from you." She says.
"And why not?"
"You're Jake. Always carefull and noticing every single thing."
"There's more you don't know. I have reasons to be carefull."

He finally find a blank page and starts sketching. Slowly a boy and girl form on the page.
"This is a start?" He asks.
"Nice." She studies the paper.
"What if we make the opposite of silhouettes?"
"What do you mean?"
"All kinds of splashes colors inside them and black splashes outside them. Opposite silhouettes."

"Sounds cool, but not only black. Also grey and white."
"Sounds good." He starts making the grey, white and black splashes. She grabs a pencil case from her black bag and gets some colored pencils.

"What colors are we going to use?" She asks.
"Red. It's the color of anger, but also love. Plus, it looks cool with both black and grey."
"Purple? For being scared?"
"Hmm... I don't feel it."
"Yellow for happiness?"
"Sounds good. Blue maybe? For sadness?"
"Sure, sounds great. But then also green for jealousy."
"Sure. Pink for a different kind of love?"
"Love for your children and parents."
"We still have orange left."
"It's kind of mighty. Also joy but anger fits too."
"So it's confusion." She concludes.
"Yep, I guess. It's a combination of red and yellow. Happiness and anger with a touch of love."

She smiles. "So that's going to be a lot of orange."
He laughs. "Maybe not. There's also a lot of sadness to life. Not a lot of jealousy as they have each other and trust each other. What makes them happy, so yellow comes in there."
"In the future they might get children, that's where pink comes in."
"But then comes confusion as they slowly grow up."

They look at each other and smile.

She pulls the sketch book towards herself and starts slowly with the colors. A lot of blue and yellow at the top, slowly a little green here and there, further down comes red, what goes over in pink and combines with orange. Every inch is colored. He grabs a black pencil and starts with the black around them, with white and grey spots, slowly fading.

"Is this your final drawing already? It looks really good." The teacher suddenly stands behind them.
"Not yet. But is it alright if we send pictures of the end result? We want to use a certain technic and we don't know yet if we can take it in the classroom." Jake tells her.

"Ofcourse. Altrough this is good enough for an end result."
"For us it isn't." Michelle interrups.
"I expect something special then."
"It will be." Jake says. "Trust us."

They look at each other and smile.

"Alright then. I honestly didn't expect such a chemistry between the two of you. You guys always sit on other end of the classroom."
"I have reasons." They say togheter.
"Fine. Good luck with creating anything better then this."
"Thanks." Michelle says, at the same time Jake tell her: "we won't need it."

The teacher walks away suprised.

"Don't be so harsh." Michelle says.
"Oh come on. You like that."
"But I still respect people. We both know that."
"Believe me, I do."
"We also know that you have to keep your mouth shut."
"Shut up." He turns to the drawing again.

The bell rings.
"Tomorrow. Six pm at your house. I'll bring all the spray paint I have left." Jake says.
"Alright. See you then."
"See you." He grabs his bag and walks out the classroom. Daisy is waiting for Michelle.

"I need the tea. Everyone saw you and Jake being all cute togheter. Some people heard love mutiple times. And everyone knows you guys were crushing on each other last year. But you guys became rivals after the discussion."
"Relax. I'll tell you. Just not here."
