Dean POV

"Shouldn't Sammy be home by now?" I asked glancing at the clock, it was 2 hours after school got out.

"Calm down Dean. He probably stayed at the library or something." John commented as he stared at papers.

"Yeah I know its just he never stays this late and he would have called." Dean said panic blossuming in my gut.

"Fine Ill call him." John said rolling his eyes.

l watched as he dialed Sams number and pressed call. *Ring ring*

"What the hell?" John said looking at the trash can where Sams phone was apparently.

I watched his eyes grow confused and walked over to. 'Why is Sams phone in the trash? I mean its not like we are made of money, damn kid always screwing up.' I thought as I pulled out a shirt and coat. I dug his phone out but something caught my eye and I visibly paled. 5 long rips came along down the back of the bloody clothes.

"Dad." I said in a low tone.

"Oh god." He rasped scrambling to his phone calling the school.

I instantly regretted my earlier thoughts and felt like a jerk. I heard Dad talking to people annd him suck in his breath and hang up.

"He isn't at the school." He said carefully.

"We've gotta find him." I said panicking.

"Dean your not in any shape to be ru-"

"No Dad I'm going to find Sammy."

We walked out to the impala after John realized Dean wasn't kidding  and scowered the streets hoping to find my broken brother. Along the way I spotted an old man sitting on a bench and instincts told me to stop.

"Dad stop!" I yelled hearing the tires screech in protest.

I jump out and ran up to the startled man and asked "Have you seen my brother? He's about my height, shaggy brown hair, looks like shit?"

"Yeah actually I sent him down that way" He pointed down the street "But on the next block he turned down the alley way. He didn't look to well like he would fall over at any moment."

"Thanks." I said getting back in the impala and guiding Dad to the alley.

I hopped out and took off down the alley Dad right behind me when I suddenly stopped. There he was sitting down leaned up against the wall blood pooled around him.

"Sammy?" I whispered walking closer.

I bent down and touched his face moving his hair out of the way and let me tell you that guy wasn't kidding. 'God he's freezing.' I thought slipping my coat around him.

"Dad help." I commanded seeing he hasn't moved since I stopped and I couldn't carry Sam alone, not with my injury.

He slowly moved forward and we picked Sam up and moved him to the impala. The drive back to the motel was quick and seemed to take forever.

"He's gonna be okay? Right Dad?' I asked as we hauled him inside.

"I....don't know. Its to late for the holy water. Its all up to Sam now. He can fight it or give up." John sighed.

They sat in silence as the patched Sam up. He was still shivering and his lips where blue.

"Dad turn up the thermostat." Dean asked before climbing under the covers with Sam.

I wrapped his arms around him just like he used to when little Sammy had a nightmare and climb into my bed. The only difference was now this was my nightmare.
