I woke in a small room with blue walls. In the corner there was a crib and a little mobile.

"A nursery?" I mumbled.

Just then a small boy with crazy hair ran past me to the crib.

"Goodnight Sammy." The boy whispered.

That's me? That's Dean? This must have been before mom.

"Dean?" I quietly said.

"You gotta wake up." The boy said turning to face me.

"I can't. I don't know how." I panicked.

The young boy smiled and ran out of the room. I ran after him into a different room. There he was again this time his normal age sitting at a square table.

"Go on sit down." He grumbled.

"What's happening?" I asked sitting down.

"You passed out now your mind is making up shit."

"Dean. How do I wake up?"

"You don't Sam."

"What do you mean?"

"Your not supposed to wake up this time, Sammy. This" He said pointing to the table "is where your story ends."

"No I have to wake up." I yelled running from the room.

Before I can get out Deans there grabbing my shoulders.

"Sammy....Your not supposed to wake up. But I want you to fight, okay? Fight for me." Dean said in a urgent tone.

"Dean I don't know how to wake up." I stuttered having not heard Dean use this tone.

"Yes you do Sam." Dean smiled before disappearing.

"Dean wait." I yelled but he was gone.

I'm going to wake up I have to. I have to wake up for Dean. I swift through the layers of unconsciousness until I vaguely hear voices. I need to wake up so I crack my eyes open just a peek and see Deans back facing me and Dad in the doorway with a plate.

Dean POV

"Dean. Eat." Dad demanded.

The two Winchesters had been fighting for the past 10 minutes trying to get me to eat not noticing the hardly awake boy behind them. In all honesty I'm not hungry not even for pie.

"I'm not hungry, Dad."

"You haven't eaten in 2 days."

"So?"

"So you need to eat Dean."

"No I'm fine." I argued.

"Dean Winchester." Dad warned.

"Ill eat when Sammy wakes up." I said glancing at the kid.

"So your going to starve to death waiting for that idiot to wake up? Come on Dean. Why are you so worried about him when he almost killed you?" Dad yelled.

I remained still watching Dad in shock. His jaw slackened realizing what he said and his eyes widened when he saw not only green but hazel staring at him.

"Sammy?" He whispered watching in horror as Sam took that in and saw it as the truth.

I turned around just in time to see my baby brothers eyes slide closed once more.

"Sam. No open your eyes. Please." I whispered in his ears, but Sam didn't open his eyes for me.

"Dad, you fucking prick." I yelled tears stinging my eyes.

"Dean I-"

"No. How could you say that?" I pressed.

"I didn't know he was awake."

"So if he wasn't you still would have? Did you even ask him if he was okay before sending him to school?"

I watched his eyebrows knit together trying to remember then his face go blank. "I didn't ask him if he was okay." He whispered realizing what he did.

"Dad you need to realize Sam is not me. He's so much more different." I said in a oddly calm voice.

"Your right. He's a burden you shouldnt carry." Dad said meaning something else but came out like so.

"He's not a burden. He's my little brother. Why can't you see that he's more than a burden?" I yelled pushing him against the wall.

"I'm going to the bar."

"Of course. Don't bother coming back, you've never been a good father anyways." I mumbled watching him leave.
