Marie was cooking dinner for her and Jake when suddenly her phone rang, putting down the spatula she walked over to phone, pressing it against her ear, "Hello?".

"May I speak with Marie Carter?"

"You are speaking to her".

"Hi my name is Marissa, I am at a Nurse at Saint Angel Hospital, I am calling to let you know that we have two of your family members here. One of them is unconscious at the moment, while the other is in surgery".

Marie quickly walked over to the stove and turned it off, "May I please have their names?".

There was a moment of silence of the phone before the nurse spoke, "Anthony
Cruz and Bianca Cruz".

"Thank you, I'll be there in a couple of minutes".

Marie took of her apron and began to rush towards her bedroom, grabbing her purse and a jacket she walked towards the living room to find Jake walking in, "Mom what's wrong?".

Marie felt tears began to form in her eyes as she looked at her son, "Its Tony and Bianca, they were in an accident and are at the hospital".

Jake didn't hesitate before putting on his sweater and grabbing the car keys, his hands were shaking slightly as he drove them to the hospital. He couldn't understand how they were at the hospital, when just hours ago he was speaking with Bianca.

As soon as they arrived, Marie and Jake quickly rushed into the emergency waiting room, walking up to the check in, "I'm here to see Tony and Bianca Cruz".

A nurse with blonde hair gave them a small smile before she began to type on her computer, "Tony is in room 304, he might be unconscious at the moment and Bianca is still in surgery".

With a 'thank you' and after getting a visiting pass, they both made their way to room 304. After a couple of minutes of looking for Tony's room, they finally found it, knocking softly Marie walked in with Jake behind her to see a sleeping Tony laying on the bed. There was a cast on his right leg and on his left wrist, they were small cuts and bruises on his face and arms.

Marie felt an ache in her heart as she slowly walked towards Tony, taking a seat on the chair that was next to his bed, she leaned in and grabbed his hand softly in hers. She began to rub small circles in a soothing manner as she looked at him, she felt tears form in the corner of her eyes, it hurt her just looking at him.

Tony slowly opened his eyes as he shuffled around on the bed, "Hey, take it easy, you're hurt".

Tony glanced to his side to see Marie sitting down by his bed, Jake was standing behind his mother with a sad smile on his face, "How are you feeling?".

"Like I got hit by a truck".

Marie chuckled softly as continued to run circles on Tony's hand, "Well at least your sarcasm is still there". Tony smiled at her softly before his smile faded and he glanced around the room, "Where's Bianca?".

Marie noticed Tony began to panic, reaching over she placed a hand on his shoulder, "She's in surgery right now, I'm sure the doctors will give you news soon".

Tony laid his head back down on the pillow as he closed his eyes, "This is all my fault".

Jake walked around to take a seat on the opposite side of Tony's bed, "Tony this was an accident, you didn't know this was gonna happen".
