The carnage that ensued afterward was indeed hard to describe. Springtrap went into a rampage once more, grabbing animatronics and flinging them aside, and then focused onto Golden Freddy. The two's rage were indescribable as they stared at each other, almost igniting the air with the fires burning inside their eyes. Spring Bonnie was looking frantically between the two before he took a step forward.

"Please, let's just talk about this, we can..." He began, but Springtrap snapped his jaws at him, shutting him up. A new exhilaration welled up in me; I had some control over a weapon that no one expected. Well, fully expected. Springtrap was volatile enough where it was starting to be asked "when" and not "if".

The entire building was frozen with fear. They watched the monster with intent gazes, wondering, waiting when he would strike. The vivid memory of the Marionette becoming mere parts because of him arose in my mind, and I was quite sure that the other animatronics were remembering that too, since they were trying to split up and not make themselves targets. But the beast wasn't focused on them. He was focused on the bear in front of him.

"I knew this day would happen soon, Springtrap. I knew you were vindictive enough to let revenge take the reigns." Golden Freddy spat. Springtrap limped toward him, his lip curled and black drool leaking from his sharp teeth. He threw a table out of his way, and huffed.

"You bashed my bones and body, and left me to ROT. Just...like...last time..." He snarled. He stood up to his full height, the tip of his longer ear brushing the top of the ceiling.

"And just like last time, I'm gonna do something I will most likely regret. But I don't right now." He ominously murmured. Golden Freddy looked at him and took a step forward, showing his defiance.

"Step back, Golden Freddy. Don't make me..." Springtrap began, but stopped himself. He didn't want to show any mercy, I theorized.

"Make you do...what, Springtrap? Ruin me? I know you more than you think. You...you're a coward." Golden Freddy said, followed by a chuckle. "You're a coward and you wouldn't hurt me because I've done far too much for you and to you."

I felt a twinge of annoyance in me as I saw that my decayed weapon was actually debating morals. I could see it in his expression. His face was twisting between anger and confusion, with a little bit of despair fused in. I wanted a fighter, not a lover. Not that Springtrap was known for love anyway.

But I saw the violet, intense eyes narrow and his thick brow furrow. He reminded himself of the fury and I watched with excitement as his chin lifted and he looked down at Golden Freddy with the most intense rage he could conjure.

"I'm calling the bluff." Was all he said before he roared and tackled the golden bear and began snapping his jaws all over his limbs. Rather than screaming, Golden Freddy was grunting and screeching insults at his attacker. He was attempting to shove him off, but it was the equivalent of an actual bear attacking a helpless human. Unless there was someone there to put the animal down, there was nothing anyone could do.

What astonished me was that, as I scanned the faces watching the terrible event, was that they were of relief. That it was Golden Freddy, not them. Fredbear looked relieved, Foxy looked even a little content, and then there was Spring Bonnie. Instead of a shocked or afraid look he usually adorned, he was just...stone-faced. I wish I was able to crawl into his mind, find out what he was thinking.

A theory I had was that he was just done. He was tired of Golden Freddy, who was supposed to be his leader, abusing them and harming them. And he was tired of trying to hold back Springtrap, who didn't listen and didn't hang onto words like his only friend wanted to. I think...that the two people he gravitated to the most besides his resident Fredbear had finally broken him. He was just flat- out destroyed mentally.

I felt a smile twitch at the edges of my mouth. I was actually winning. I was excited to tell the Nightmarionne of my progress and tell him the things I've done. Would he be proud of me? Would he reward me and make me his right-hand man? All I had to do was get the animatronics under my heel and then kill Nightmare.

Springtrap threw Golden Freddy down near where I was, nearly making my core leap into my throat. I jumped out of the way, and snapped my gaze toward Springtrap

"Watch it! I was standing right here, you could have hit me!" I snapped. But he approached me, and towered over me. Was he starting to become independent? Was he going to hurt me?!

"...Sorry." He muttered, which greatly contrasted his murderous intent toward everyone. He then approached Golden Freddy, who was panting on the ground. He knew he wouldn't die, that Springtrap couldn't kill him, but he was still horrified. The archaic monster chuckled, and then grabbed him by the neck and dragged him to the door leading outside. He opened it and threw him into the street, where a light snow had begun to fall. Golden Freddy looked up, desperation before the door was slammed in his face.

I turned toward everyone and smiled. "You're under new management now." I said. They stared at me and Foxy spoke up.

"Hey now, who said-" he was stopped by Springtrap snarling at him. I looked at all of their faces, smiling from ear to ear. Now all I had to worry about was Nightmare.

And I knew that Nightmare knew that these were the ghosts of children and the souls of kind robots. He wouldn't go down without a serious fight.

And neither would I.
