-Two weeks later-

A party bus arrived at Maddy's apartment. She hauled her carry on bag up the steps to an eruption of people chanting "VEGAS! VEGAS! VEGAS!" she joined in as they filmed her.

"The cult is complete" Matt said as Maddy stored her luggage.

"Maddy come sit over here" Zane said.

She walked over to where he was sitting as he lifted the sweatshirt laying on the seat next to him to reveal a Smirnoff ice.

The bus erupted in cheers again. Maddy popped the cap off and took a knee, saying "Sorry mom and dad" David filmed as Maddy finished the bottle, stood up, and bowed, sitting down next to Zane.

The group arrived at LAX and went through security quickly and began to hurry to their gate, as the doors were due to close in 10 minutes.

"Who's ever early to the airport?" Zane asked, running for the gate.

"People who fucking hate running" Maddy responded, breathing heavy.

"Gold" Jason, who had gotten it on film said, making Maddy laugh.

They eventually made it to the gate, and checked in.

"What seat number are you in?" David, who had booked everyone's flights to ensure they were all sitting together, asked as he and Maddy walked down the jet bridge.

"5A"

"Weird, i'm 5B" He laughed.

"Smooth, it's almost like you like me or something" Maddy said, turning around to see if anyone was close enough to hear their conversation. They weren't.

Maddy and David had been seeing each other for a month. Things were going well, but neither of them had made the move to make it official, or felt any rush to tell their friends. As they had agreed before, they were taking things slow. Everyone found their seat for the extremely short flight and settled in. Maddy began playing with the screen in front of her and scrolled through the movies before deciding on Love, Simon. She clicked on the movie and plugged her headphones in. David reached across Maddy's face and grabbed the earbud out of her left ear, and put it into his, resting his chin on her shoulder.

"Fucking freeloader" Maddy said.

Maddy looked past David to see Zane and Matt, who were sitting across the aisle, looking at Maddy and David. She waved and Zane winked at her. She ignored him and turned her head back to the movie.

Three hours later the group entered the Palms hotel. Maddy went up to the desk to check into the suite she had booked for them. She took the keys and a concierge staff member led the group to an elevator and showed them how to use the elevator to get to their room, explaining it was the only one on the floor.

"MADDY WHAT THE FUCK?" Todd asked, as the doors opened to reveal the 2 story penthouse. "We tried to book this last year and they told us there was a 2 year wait list"

"I asked my dad to book since he's a high roller" She said, looking around incredulously. "And we always had free accommodation but he was never at the level where we would get this type of free accommodation."

"Jesus Christ, what does your dad do?" Jason asked.

"I guess gambles what would have been my college tuition" Maddy said, making the group laugh.

"We gotta party with Maddy more often!" Heath said.

Everyone laughed again. The group raided the bar, getting sufficiently drunk before hitting the strip. They gambled, ate dinner, and gambled some more. Part of the group went to some strip clubs, and they all slowly but surely returned to the hotel. Maddy and David, two of the more sober members of the group, sat outside after making sure that everyone had gotten back. Maddy sat with her feet in the pool while David sat on a chair poolside. The first hint of the sun was just beginning to come up on the horizon.

"Put your feet in" Maddy said, taking a sip of her glass of champagne.

"No"

Maddy splashed David.

"Oh, it's on now" David said, walking over to the pool as Maddy quickly hopped up and backed up towards the doors to the room. David reached his hand in and flung as much water as he could at Maddy, who dodged it by hopping inside and closing the door behind her.

"You're not getting away that easy" David yelled to Maddy through the glass door, who put her finger to her lips and pointed to Scott and Kristen, who were asleep on the couch. Maddy then grinned at David before running up the stairs.

David followed her into a room which was currently, surprisingly, unoccupied. There were floor to ceiling windows showcasing the sunrise. Maddy was busy watching the sunrise as David came up behind her and wrapped his arms around her, picking her up and tossing her onto the bed, laughing. Maddy laughed and laid back on the bed. David hovered over her and kissed her. Maddy kissed back.

"Should we make this official?" David asked.

"How so?"

"Do you want to officially be my girlfriend?"

Maddy sat up and pretended to think.

"Hmmm.... why not?"
