"Can we tell people now?" David asked, filming Maddy again. She was walking out of David's bedroom wearing leggings and a large t-shirt.
Maddy closed her eyes and laughed.
"Fine, we can announce"
"Can I plan it?"
"Yes"
"Do you give me full creative control?"
"Yes"
"Great"
"Is that how you're going to announce?"
"Maybe" David smirked, turning the camera off.
"Just warn me before the video is going up, ok?" She asked, sitting next to him on the couch and kissing him on the cheek.
"Ok"
David edited a video he was working on while Maddy scrolled through her phone. Maddy started laughing.
"Oh god, what?"
"We're on messy mondays"
"FUCK, for what?" David asked, moving so he could see Maddy's screen.
Messy Mondays was a twitter account that frequently posted youtuber drama and gossip. The last time David had been featured was when Liza had started dating her new boyfriend, and speculation about how David reacted was running rampant.

Attached was a video compilation of David's videos with the dates circled, and Maddy's with later dates playing the same song.
"People seriously pay attention to that?" David asked.
"Where'd you get the intro songs, David?" Maddy laughed.
"Oh my god" He started laughing. "Your fucking outro playlist"
"That's right, my fucking outro playlist. I'm exposing you"
Maddy scrolled through her texts with David and found him texting her "Send me the outro song playlist" and a screenshot of her spotify playlist with the dates she had added the songs, circling the ones he had used on snapchat. She then attached the screenshots to a tweet.
@MaddyLaurent: Let me clear up some rumors here, @DavidDobrik is copying ME. I had a playlist of outros that David liked and wanted me to send him, he then used MY songs that I was already planning on using. Here are the receipts @MessyMondays CANCEL HIM! #EXPOSED #DavidDobrikIsOverParty
David cracked up laughing when he read the tweet. Maddy looked at the replies, her favorite being "the fact that his name is King David in your phone he really has his friends brainwashed". Within minutes, the name of the group chat David and his friends were in was changed to #DavidDobrikIsOverParty and nearly all of his friends had retweeted it.
"You're too fucking funny. It's dangerous"
"It's not funny, it's justice. But seriously, how are you gonna announce?"
David shrugged.
"Do you want to know the truth?"
"Yes"
"I have absolutely no idea. I'll figure it out though"
"Just don't blindfold anyone, I feel like that's overdone"
"You don't like the blindfolding?!" David asked, pretending to be hurt.
"I never said that"
"Fine, I promise I won't blindfold"
David and Maddy had a lazy morning, not doing a whole lot of anything but watching episode after episode of parks and recreation (although neither of them particularly loved the show) simply because they weren't paying attention to the show, but rather to each other. They joked around and laughed constantly. Maddy, who didn't realize how mundane her past relationship had been, felt refreshed. She was no longer the girlfriend who made weird jokes and was met with an "I don't really get it..." or the girlfriend who "should probably be a little more serious". She was Maddy, and she was perfect just the way she was.

I felt like I had to do something with the plot hole where David asked Maddy to send him her playlist so here's a conclusion to that, I also needed the agreement to announce their relationship so I kind of just filled in the blanks. I hope you enjoy!! I'm debating if I should post another book i'm working on now even though I only have like the first half written/planned for... let me know if you have any feelings about that
