OCEAN EYES. CH.16
The next morning, Kurt and Blaine were cuddled in bed as close as they could possibly get. Since their talk the day before, Blaine had been practically attached to Kurt- holding onto him and cuddling into his arms at any chance he got. He woke up slowly as the sun shone through his window, looking up at Kurt and yawning softly.
Kurt felt Blaine's movement in his arms, causing him to blink his eyes open slowly. He looked down at Blaine, a small smile coming to his lips. "Good morning." He whispered, his hand sliding up and down Blaine's back.
Blaine smiled softly in return. "Morning." He whispered, looking into Kurt's eyes. "I slept a lot better with you beside me."
Kurt bit his lip over a smile, nodding. "I slept better too." He breathed.
Blaine took a deep breath. "Can I ask you some questions?" He asked, his hand resting on Kurt's side as they cuddled in bed.
Kurt nodded quickly. "Yeah, of course. Whatever you want to know." He smiled.
Blaine nodded. "Um- how exactly did we meet?" He asked.
Kurt smiled slightly. "It was last July, and I was sitting at the lake trying to get a tan." He said softly. "You were playing volleyball with your friends, and your ball hit my chair. You came over to get it, and you said that you thought my eyes were beautiful." He smiled. "We talked for awhile, and you asked me to go to dinner with you that night."
Blaine nodded, smiling slightly as Kurt spoke. "Sounds like I was a total flirt." He said, shaking his head. "So we went on our first date after that?" He asked softly.
Kurt nodded. "Yeah, you took me to this romantic Italian place in Lima." He smiled. "We talked for hours at dinner, and then you drove me home, and you kissed me before I went in."
Blaine smiled as Kurt spoke. "That was our first kiss?" He asked, looking into his eyes.
Kurt nodded. "Yeah, it was. It was our first kiss together, and my first kiss ever. Yours too."
Blaine nodded, his eyes glancing down to Kurt's lips. "I can see why I wanted to kiss you." He whispered. "You're beautiful."
Kurt blushed darkly. "Stop." He said, biting his lip.
Blaine shook his head. "You really are." He said softly. "When I woke up and you told me you were my boyfriend, all I was thinking was that there's no way somebody this beautiful would be with me."
Kurt took a deep breath, shaking his head. "Even with your memory gone you're still insanely romantic." He smiled slightly, watching as Blaine's eyes roamed over his lips. "You can kiss me whenever you want to, you know. I'm all yours."
Blaine nodded slowly, letting out a deep breath. "I don't- I don't even know how to kiss someone." He whispered, looking up into Kurt's eyes. "I've never thought about actually kissing a boy, I always figured that'd be far into the future." He laughed softly.
Kurt laughed in return, tugging Blaine closer so their foreheads rested together. "I can help." He whispered, fluttering his eyes closed before leaning in, pressing his lips against Blaine's.
Blaine closed his eyes, gripping onto Kurt's shoulders and kissing him back deeply. His heart was beating out of his chest, and his head was spinning- Kurt was someone he couldn't believe was actually his. He let out a shaky breath as they pulled away, biting his lip as he looked up at Kurt.
Kurt smiled slightly, cuddling closer to Blaine and burying his head against his chest. "God, I missed that." He breathed, closing his eyes. "Being with you for a week and not being able to kiss you was awful."
Blaine nodded, reaching a hand up to run it through Kurt's hair. "You can kiss me whenever you want to now." He whispered. "I was just- I was nervous. And I wasn't letting myself trust you." He breathed, looking down into Kurt's eyes. "What was our first time like?"
Kurt raised his eyebrows slightly at the question. "Well, um- we had been dating for a few weeks, and we'd had countless makeout sessions in the back of your car." He laughed softly. "Then, my parents were out of town, and you came over-"
Blaine cut him off. "I brought you pink roses." He breathed out.
Kurt frowned. "How did you-"
Blaine cut him off again. "I remember going to the florist and picking out pink roses, because I thought I should get you something special." He breathed, a small smile coming to his lips. "I remember I-I was so nervous." He said, shaking his head. "I don't remember the whole thing, but I remember the roses." He laughed happily.
Kurt grinned widely, wrapping Blaine in a tight hug. "I can't believe you remember." He whispered, shaking his head.
Blaine hugged Kurt tightly, sighing happily. "I can't either." He breathed, looking up into Kurt's eyes and leaning in, pressing a deep kiss to his lips.
Kurt closed his eyes, holding onto Blaine tightly and kissing him back deeply. He grabbed at the fabric of Blaine's shirt, moaning gently into his mouth as their bodies slowly pushed impossibly closer together.
Blaine's heart was pounding in his chest as his hands roamed over Kurt's back. He pulled back slightly, letting out a shaky breath. "I don't, um- I don't really know what I'm doing." He whispered. "I've never even kissed anybody before today that I can remember."
Kurt looked into Blaine's eyes as he pulled away, nodding as he spoke. "We don't have to do anything you don't want to." He whispered gently, cuddling into Blaine's chest. "I want you to be ready."
Blaine nodded, holding Kurt tightly. "Thank you." He breathed, sliding a hand through Kurt's hair. "For everything." He whispered, shaking his head. "For staying with me, for loving me and being so patient with me."
Kurt pressed a gentle kiss to Blaine's jaw. "You don't need to thank me. That's what love is. Staying with someone even when it might be easier to leave." He breathed. "I'll never leave."
