OCEAN EYES. CH. 17
For the rest of the week, Kurt had been fairly busy. He had to attend his college orientations, help Rachel rehearse for her audition, and make sure Blaine was taken care of while he was still instructed by his doctor to rest at home. He hadn't been able to spend as much time with Blaine as he would like, but he was excited to have a free night to spend with his boyfriend.
He hummed softly as he walked up the stairs to Blaine's apartment, unlocking it with the key he had gotten made and walking inside, his jaw immediately dropping open. "Oh my god." He laughed happily, looking around at the rose petals that were scattered across the floor, leading to the kitchen table. He looked up at Blaine, who was standing there in a suit, in disbelief. "What is this for?" He asked breathlessly.
Blaine smiled, walking over and taking Kurt's hand. "It's for you." He said, tugging him into his arms and hugging him tightly. "You've done so much for me these past few weeks- I wanted to do something for you."
Kurt held onto Blaine tightly, closing his eyes. "You didn't have to do all this." He whispered, sighing happily as they walked over to the table and sat down.
Blaine shook his head. "I know I didn't- and you didn't have to take care of me all this time." He said. "I want to, because I care about you."
Kurt bit his lip over a smile, taking a bite of the pasta that Blaine had prepared. "This is so good." He grinned, taking Blaine's hand across the table and squeezing it gently.
Blaine squeezed Kurt's hand in return as they ate. "I'm glad you like it, beautiful." He said, looking into Kurt's eyes. "I missed you today."
Kurt looked up at Blaine with a smile. "I missed you too." He said softly, running his thumb over Blaine's knuckles. "How are you feeling? Any pain today? I need to get your prescription refilled tomorrow." He sighed, running a hand through his hair.
Blaine sighed, shaking his head. "Hey- how about you just stay in bed with me tomorrow." He smiled softly. "I can tell you're stressed, and you've been doing so much for me. You deserve a day off."
Kurt shook his head. "I can't take a day off, Blaine, I have to grocery shop tomorrow- we're running low on food. And I need to call your doctor, and I told Rachel I'd go over and help her decorate for a few hours." He sighed.
Blaine put both his hands on Kurt's. "Listen- we can go one more day without groceries. We'll order delivery tomorrow." He said softly. "And Rachel will understand- I can call and tell her if you want. And I'll ask her to go pick up my medicine too, okay? You need a stress free day."
Kurt nodded slowly, getting up and walking over to sit in Blaine's lap, wrapping his arms around him. "Okay, okay. I'll stay here with you." He said, resting his forehead against Blaine's and pressing a gentle kiss to his lips.
Blaine smiled against Kurt's lips, wrapping his arms around him in return. He slid his hands down to Kurt's thighs, squeezing them slightly as he deepened their kiss. "Can we go to the bedroom?" He breathed as he pulled away, biting his lip.
Kurt nodded, breathless from their kiss. "Yeah." He whispered, standing up and following Blaine to the bedroom. He sat down in bed, looking up into Blaine's eyes with a small smile.
Blaine took a deep breath, getting onto the bed and gently pushing Kurt back against the mattress. He pressed their lips together again, letting his hands travel over Kurt's body. "You're so beautiful." He whispered, climbing on top of him.
Kurt fluttered his eyes closed, gripping onto Blaine's sides and moaning into his mouth. "That's you." He breathed out, tugging at Blaine's shirt and tossing it aside. He let his hands run over his bare chest, looking up into his eyes. "I want you so bad." He whispered, his hands running over Blaine's arms.
Blaine nodded, gripping onto Kurt's sides as he slowly rocked his hips down against him. "I want you too." He whispered, his voice shaking. He was becoming more and more nervous by the second- he didn't want to fuck this up, and he was still scared of letting himself be completely open and vulnerable to Kurt.
Kurt frowned softly when he heard Blaine's hesitant voice and felt his body shaking above him, pulling back and looking into his eyes. "Hey- what's the matter? You're shaking. Why are you shaking?" He asked worriedly, bringing up a hand to cup Blaine's cheek.
Blaine shook his head quickly, sitting up. "It's- it's nothing. I'm sorry." He breathed out, his voice continuing to shake. "I'm just nervous, that's all. We can keep going." He said, climbing back on top of Kurt.
Kurt sat up, pushing Blaine back and shaking his head. "No, Blaine, stop. Tell me what's the matter." He said softly, sliding a hand through Blaine's curls. "You can tell me anything. I won't be mad. Do you not feel attracted to me?" He asked, swallowing thickly.
Blaine looked up into Kurt's eyes. "What? No." He said quickly. "Fuck, Kurt- I'm insanely attracted to you. I think about you all the time when you're gone hanging out with Rachel or doing school stuff... I always think about touching you a-and making love to you all the time." He breathed, a soft blush dusting his cheeks. "I'm just nervous. I'm sorry."
Kurt scooted closer to Blaine, gently cupping his cheek. "What are you nervous about?" He asked.
Blaine sniffled softly. "I'm nervous that I'm not gonna be as good as I used to be. I mean- you said our sex was great before- what if I'm awful? What if I'm nothing like I was and you don't want to sleep with me ever again?" He asked, wiping at his eyes. "I know it's stupid, but, I just wanna be your Blaine again."
Kurt shook his head quickly. "You're always gonna be my Blaine." He whispered. "Our sex wasn't great because you had amazing bedroom skills- our sex was great because it was intimate, and we cared so much about each other and how we were feeling." He smiled softly. "And it was great because we were both ready. But you're not ready- and that's okay. We can wait."
Blaine took a deep breath, gently pressing himself into Kurt's arms and hugging him tightly. "I just wanted to make you a romantic dinner a-and I wanted to be intimate with you and make you feel good." He sniffled softly. "You do so much for me. I just want to make you happy."
Kurt shook his head, hugging Blaine tightly. "You don't have to make me dinner and have sex with with me to make me happy." He whispered, laying down in bed and cuddling into Blaine's arms. "You just have to be here, and put in an effort- which you are. We talk everyday, and we kiss, and we cuddle and watch stupid TV shows together." He laughed softly. "Those are the kinds of things that make me the happiest."
Blaine nodded, looking up at Kurt. "You don't miss being intimate?" He asked quietly.
Kurt took a deep breath. "Of course I do." He said softly. "But that's a physical thing- and when you're completely ready, of course I want to be with you in that way. But right now, I am just so happy to have you, Blaine- you could've died in that car accident, but you're here, and you're okay. I'm so thankful for that." He whispered. "I love you so much, and I can't imagine my life without you anymore. I promise I'm happy. With you I always am."
Blaine closed his eyes, pressing himself closer into Kurt's arms. "I love you too."
Kurt's heart skipped a beat as Blaine spoke, and he couldn't help the huge smile that spread across his face. "You love me?" He asked softly, looking up into Blaine's eyes.
Blaine nodded, leaning in and pressing a soft kiss to his lips. "Yes." He breathed, looking into Kurt's eyes. "I love you." He smiled softly, pressing his lips against Kurt's again.
Kurt sighed happily against his boyfriend's lips, hugging him tightly. "I love you too."
