Chapter 5

Tiana's POV

Sweet Pea stopped his motorcycle in front of a bar just as the rest of the Serpents stopped. They all got off their bikes and started to walk inside. 

I was standing next to Sweet Pea's bike awkwardly. "T come on", he winked at me taking my hand as we walked inside. 

Some heads turned towards us but everyone was smiling. "I think I shouldn't be here", I whispered to the serpent standing next to me. 

"No, no, you're gonna celebrate with us tonight", a guy smiled at me that I didn't know. "He is right, you chose the Serpents over the people you grew up with", Sweet Pea smiled at me. 

We then walked over to the rest of the younger Serpents who smiled at me as well. "Damn Blossom, that punch had some fire in it", a guy chuckled. "True you knocked that bitch out right away", the one from the beginning said. 

"Oh I'm Fangs by the way", he introduced himself to me. "Tiana?", Toni's voice asked. 

"What are you doing here?", she chuckled approaching the entire group, she noticed that every single one of us was dripping wet. "I was with them at their fight and well I chose to come with the Serpents instead of the Bulldogs", I replied. 

"Oh I like that, the Northside princess hanging with the Serpents", she smiled giving my shoulder a slight punch. 

After everyone calmed down a little Sweet Pea got us drinks as we stood beside the pool table where Fangs and Toni were having a match. 

"So you wanna tell me now, where you learned to throw punches like that and why you did choose us and punched that ass", Sweets smirked leaning on the table looking at me. 

"Well this dude, his name is Reggie and well we had this thing going on but I ended it because I thought I felt something for him, while he was having flings with other girls at the same time. 

So when you and I, you know did what we did after his party he got mad and kept threatening me in school. He even got physical one time and tonight was my opportunity to pay him back for everything he did to me", I explained.

"He is an ass", he chuckled. "He is and he got what he deserved", I spat taking a sip from my drink, which immediately burned my throat. 

"You know I wouldn't have thought you would be a Northsider if I didn't know it", Fangs stated. "Yeah right, she is pretty cool", another Serpent named Dylan said smiling at me. 

"Thanks, I guess", I laughed. 

"Have you recently thought about becoming a Serpent?", Toni asked resting her hands, which were folded, over her pool stick. 

"Why?", I asked chuckling. "You would make a great Serpent", Sweet Pea explained giving me a smile. 

"You think? My mom would kill me and well the Bulldogs would too", I anxiously replied. "No no you would be protected by us all the time, that's one of the laws of being a Serpent, in unity there is strength", he told me. 

"That sounds perfect and I'd love to be a Serpent but as long as I'm attending on the Riverdale High I won't be able to", I murmured. 

"Why not? Aren't you and your sisters like the queen's of Riverdale high?", Toni asked. "Well if you want to call us that but mostly Cheryl. I'm her shadow", "You are not, look at you", Sweets said lifting my face up. 

"Ugh get a room you two", a Serpent yelled making us laugh loudly. 

The night went on and the Serpents were great to spend time with. They were incredibly friendly, careless and funny. We played pool well I learned it, still not the best but it was still so much fun.
