Chapter 8

Tiana's POV

"Jughead, run!", Archie yelled as both Archie and I stormed Southside High.

"Sweets and Toni, guys run they are raiding the school for drugs", I yelled at both of my friends.

"You are one of us T, they will come after you. Run away", Sweet Pea told me. Jughead grabbed my right arm dragging me out with him and Archie.

"Let go of me. We can't leave them alone", I yelled trying my hardest to get out of Jug's grip. "You can't help them inside a cell", Archie explained.

I watched as Toni was grabbed by two officers who immediately arrested her with handcuffs. Then Sweet Pea was pushed against some lockers, he slammed his fist against them before an officer handcuffed too (TBH that scene was so hot).

"You guys have to calm down", Archie said to Jug and me. "How? Our friends just got arrested for nothing", Jughead angrily replied.

"I thought I was clear enough", I scoffed looking around the diner, where the three of us were sitting.

"What did Sweet Pea mean, you were one of them?", Andrews asked. "That's none of your business Andrews", I snapped before getting up.

I glanced at Jug, my expression telling him not to tell Archie about me joining the Serpents. He nodded his head before I walked out of the diner and back to my house.

Cheryl was laying by the pool, wearing a red bath suite. "How is my favorite baby sister doing?", she smiled putting down her book.

"I'm okay, the Southside High was just raided and I couldn't do anything to protect my friends", I sighed going over my little Serpent Tattoo on my wrist.

"They will be fine. I still can't believe these scums are your friends and that you are a gang member, Jesus Christ", Cheryl mumbled.

"Hey girls", Betty's voice greeted us, she came walking into our garden. "Betty?", I asked confused.

"How are you doing Tia?", she asked. "Great", I fake smiled, I couldn't sleep at night, Nick would still haunt my dreams.

"Uhm I have a question. Do you know the sugarman?", she asked. "Yeah", I replied.

"Wh- Really?", she asked excitedly. "It was a fairytale mother would tell us when one of Daddy's friends were over. She said that if we weren't good the sugar man would come in our bedrooms at night and steal us and we wouldn't be remembered by anyone and lost forever", Cheryl explained the stupid fairytale that I've always hated.

"Do you think it was a man in the well Business of your father?", Betty asked. "The sugar man was a poisonous confection our mother made up", I groaned slightly annoyed.

"Now fly away little bird", Cheryl said moving her hands, signaling Betty to leave.

"This picture is so old", I told my sister as I looked at my first day of school photo. Jason and Cheryl were on each side of me and we all were smiling brightly.

"Oh god and this one at Sweetwater river", she smiled at the picture from her and our brother, which I took. "I miss him so much", I sighed,

Jason was the perfect bigger brother a girl could ask for. He would protect me from the monsters in my room and held me after I found out that Reggie basically cheated on me, boy was he angry.

"Me too", Cheryl said giving me a weak smile. Just then I pulled a really old drawing from me out of the box. On it were Cheryl, Jason and I all holding hands while there was a man in the back, his name was the sugar man.
