Cheryl's POV
"Are you sure you are going to be okay?", I asked my little sister.
Tiana got released from the hospital yesterday, they said she couldn't go to school until next week. She was still weak and really pale.
"I'm sure now go or you will be late for school", she chuckled turning around in her bed. I knew she was barely holding on due to what happened with Sweet Pea. God, I hope she doesn't snap again.
I walked downstairs and saw my mother just saying goodbye to one of her many lovers. "Still at it, mother?", I asked chuckling slightly, "I thought you'd be tired of taking filthy wads of cash from strangers by now".
"You have no right to judge me", she hissed walking up to me, "Not when you drove away the one chance I had at a better life".
"You mean with Hal Cooper? If that's your idea of love", I snickered trying to past her but she roughly held me back by my arm.
"What would you know about it? You've never known love, Cheryl, except to rip it apart. Because you are a jealous, spite-filled, starving, emotional anorexic", my mother whispered smirking at me.
"Have a nice day at school, dear", she smirked tugging at my chin. Tears had begun to well up in my eyes.
How could she say something like that to me? I swallowed the hurt-ness down and headed towards school.

As I made my way towards the students' lounge I heard the 'sad breakfast club' rant about a weekend in Veronica's house.
Perfect opportunity for me to get out of that hell house.
"Luxury and weekend. Two of my favorite words. So, where are we going and how extravagant a wardrobe should I pack?", I asked excitedly as I entered the students' lounge.
They all send me awkward faces, "Sorry, Cheryl. It's kind of a romantic couples-only weekend", Veronica shrugged.
I quickly placed a fake smile on my lips "I see. of course. My mistake. Well, have fun with your romances".
I walked out of the students' lounge and towards my next class, my chest slightly hurting. Everyone has someone but I don't. I'm lost without Tiana who is barely holding up right now. I let out a sigh as I sat down on my usual spot in biology class.

After my biology class was over I decided to get to the restrooms. Not only to touch up my makeup and hair but to call Jughead and tell him about Archie and Betty.
I smirked at myself in the mirror as I dealt his number.
"Are you all settled-in and spooning yet?", I asked into my phone.
"Who is this?", Jughead asked, making me roll my eyes, "It's Cheryl, you welfare baby".
"Is something wrong?",
"Not yet. I just wanna make sure you know that Archie and Betty kissed in front of my house before Christmas and that it seemed pretty serious, with-tounges serious. That's all. Enjoy your couples-only weekend. Kisses to all, bye", I chuckled hanging up.
I gave myself another smirk in the mirror as I tossed my phone on the sink, just then one of the stalls opened.
Toni Topaz came out, "Did you really just told Jughead, that Archie and Betty kissed?".
"Yes. So, what if I did?", I asked the girl with the pink highlights.
"Did you at least have a reason?", the serpent girl questioned.
