I drive all the way down street in search of pet shelter but damn this area. they don't have any. I pulled down diner but Eva was not there. So I knew for sure she must be at Chloe's.

I was driving slow to check each side of road for puppy shelter. When I gave up searching my eyes snapped on small shop.

I walked inside and that place was full of all animals but when my eyes landed on this small puppy who was jumping up and down and wiggling its small tail, his fur was as white as snow. His brown eyes were shining and his tongue was out. When I bend down to pick him up he barked at me he even tried to bite my fingers.

"Sir, he is not trained and he is little wild so I'll suggest you another dog."
I shook my head. "No, he is perfect."
Because no matter how wild he is Eva is going to fell in love with him and he better behave or I have to kick him out.

I took his sitting cushion it has it's own cage which was made of rods. Thank god!! Or else he would have eaten off my fingers. I also took lash and collar and bowl and also puppy food.

Whole ride he didn't took his eyes off of me. He was growling at me. I guess he doesn't like me either.

"Well feeling is mutual buddy, but you better love Eva or else I'll kick you out." He barked at me.

Well I can only pray this doesn't fire back.

I knocked on the door expecting Eva to answer but when Chloe opened door he almost slammed it shut on my face but he was stopped when Dr. Page came.

"Let him in Chloe." she scolded him like a child.

"But" he tried to argue.

"Stop whinning like and child grow up." she snapped. I wanted laugh but stopped knowing well it's not going to do any good to me.

He glare at me and opened the door wide enough for me. I bend down to pick up dog's small cage when Chloe saw it he shouted and moved away.

"Keep this bloody thing away from me, now!!!" he shouted on top of his lungs.

Page come running when she saw dog in my arms she laughed so hard tears fell from her eyes.

"I should have known, you could only react this way because of this cute little boy." she smiled at the dog and he started shaking his tail.

Huh!! He likes her.

"God it's not just dog, look at him. he is monster, did you see he just showed his teeth to me throw him away right now." he whined like a baby.

"But this is just small puppy." Page said making paces to the puppy.

"No." Chloe said pulling her away from him.

"Stop over reacting, come on in Noah, don't mind him, he is just on his mens period." Page shook her head when Chloe glare at her.

I started looking for Eva but she was no where, "she is in her room sleeping if Chloe didn't wake her up by now"  she was glaring at him.

"No way in hell he is going in there." Chloe step forward to stop me.

"Chill Chloe, and you are not her father so keep you mouth shut and come help me in kitchen." Page said without leaving any air for discussion.

"But Page" he started.

"Now or you are sleeping out." she just walked inside kitchen.

He cursed but followed her inside kitchen not before giving glare at puppy who grawl at him.

"Well at leat I am not the only person he hates." I mumble chuckling.

"Her room is upstairs, second room is her." she shouted from kitchen.

I nodded

I knocked on her door twice but when she didn't open I pushed with my free hand and it opened. I walked in side
to find Eva on bed, she was sleeping on her back with headphones shoved in her ears. Music was so loud I can hear the beats till hear.

I shook my head.

She is going to break her ear drums if she keeps doing that. I put the dog down and walked to her side. I bent on my knees and removed headphones from both ears.

She snapped her eyes open and sat on bed startle when she saw it was just me she relaxed. She put her hands on her chest. "You scared me." she whisper.

"You scared me too." I whisper. lean towards her and wipe her fallen tears.

Her eyes were red. "What happened?" I asked. She shook her head and looked away.

But I knew she had her nightmare.

"I am so sorry for doing this to you, to us." I whisper wiping her tears.

She stood up from bed but stopped when she looked down. Her head snapped at me then down then on me

"What's that?" She ask kneeling down it

"A puppy." I said.

"I can see that." she rolled her eyes

"It's for you." I smiled at her.

She looked up at me. She turned back to puppy. I sat down next to her, I was so busy studying her face. I didn't realised she was opening cages gate. by the time I saw puppy was already in her arms.

"Watch out he bites." I said in horror.

"Shhh, he is an angel." she put him on her lap and started brushing his white fur.

That bloody puppy smirk at me leaning in her touch.

"Yeah I can see that." I mumble glaring at this puppy.
