"I told you not to drive this damn thing. I'm so tired of it. I hate it." I stomped my feet as soon as they touched the ground.
Ash rolled his eyes, "Do you want to go get a new car Karsen?"
"Please." Ash's hands gripped my hips as he placed me back in the truck. "What are you doing?" I asked, confused.
"We're going get a new car." He shut my door and walked over to his side.
"Now?"
"Yes now," the engine started, "You want to get rid of the truck, we'll get rid of the truck."
"But we have to go buy the last decorations for tomorrow."
"It can wait."I watched Ash's face realizing he was dead serious. We drove to a very expensive car dealership. Along the front of the building in big black letters spelled 'Carter' .
I looked at Ash dumbfounded , "Are you kidding me?""What?" he nonchalantly pulled the keys from the ignition.
"You own this place?"
He shrugged,"My father likes cars."
"Jeez Ash. Do you wipe your ass with 50's?"He chuckled and exited the car, coming around to my side,"God no. Only Benjamin's." I smacked his arm and he winked.
"Rich kid," my feet touched the ground once again.
"You should be grateful to have a wealthy boyfriend," he looked down at me as we walked into the glass building.
"Ashy boy!" a bulky dark skinned man came and engulfed Ash, "What can we get you today?" His eyes traveled down to me. "Hello Ms. Karsen," he lifted my hand and set his lips briefly to it.
Ash chuckled, "Hey there Loveless, watch yourself. But today is for baby girl here. She doesn't like my truck."
'Loveless' looked back to me and frowned, "That's a nice truck honeybun."
"I can't get in and out of it like I would like to be able to," I batted my eyelashes.
"Understandable mommy-to-be, let's get you two something sleek. Come with me."
We had been looking for about an hour when my heart spotted the one. "That's it. I want that one baby," I tugged at Ash's hand frantically.
"The Mercedes?" he pointed at the silver beauty.
"Yessss. Ashy please," I gave my best pout.
"Your lady has a good taste," Loveless smirked over to Ash.
Ash laughed, "She did pick me so you're stating already known facts my friend."
I waddled up to the car and opened the pristine door to be engulfed by the leathery scent. The inside was so fancy and elegant. I was in love.
"Ash," I looked at him out of the car window. He turned to Loveless, "We want this one."
The necessary papers were signed and all the transactions were made. We walked back to the car and Ash politely opened my door. I stepped into the car with ease and smiled, pleased from getting what I wanted. Ash came around to his side and began to do his necessary adjustments so he was comfortable and able to drive at his best. Once he was finished adjusting the last mirror , he revved up the engine and looked to me.
"You're spoiled love."
"But I'm still so sweet," I leaned over the isle and pecked his lips. We drove listening to the latest hits on the radio and Ash tapped his fingers on the steering wheel along to the beat. "Ash," I whispered.
