"Thanks for dinner!" Perry tells me, while we walk to the car. It at least, try to. We had a bit too much wine... Perry walks away from me, and into a dark alley by the restaurant.
"That's not the car," I call out to her, my feet stumbling after her "That's not the car."
Out of no where, I hear a CRACK!
Sounded like something hitting someone.
"Perry!" I scream as I look for her. She's no where, not even lying in the alley way.
"Give me her back!" I yell, slashing out blindly at thin air.
The last thing I see is a big, metal pipe hit me across the head.

I yawn. I see someone standing at the foot of my bed, but my vision is blurry.
"Hey Mom, I had the weirdest dream..." I start, still slurring my words. I don't feel tipsy anymore, am I okay? I feel something at my arm, and as my vision clears I see I have an IV.
"Mom?" I say and look at the foot of the bed again.
"Mom, who's this?" I call out. I look down and see I'm in a hospital bed. The room is like a regular, everyday room, except for one thing. Jace Herondale is at the foot of my bed, and I black out.
