HER scream pierced the air as she was taken away. She tried to struggle out of the shadow's grip to no avail. She cried out and reached a hand out towards the island that was now becoming farther and farther away.
"Clyde!"
HE ran to the shore of the island and stopped at the sea surrounding it. He saw her being flown farther and farther away from him. Soon, she wouldn't be in this land.
"Bonnie! I will find you!" he shouted as loud as he could, hoping that she heard him, hoping that she knew he'd come for her.
"I will," he promised quietly to himself when she disappeared from view. He kept staring at the sky for a while like she would come back, but she never did. He turned, eventually, and stared into the imposing forest behind him. He glared, full of anger, and made his way into the dark to find the monster that ordered her away from this world.
AN: Yes, I know it's short. But I usually always write short beginnings. Everything else will be longer.
