Haiders POV
"Sir, we got a call from the Americans they want us to invest in their new project, I read the agreement and now we just need your approval."
One of my men informed me, he looked scared by my presence and his eyes were facing the ground. "Good now tell Adam, to book a meeting with them in Islamabad."
He nodded but looked hesitant to leave as if there was more to tell.
"What is it spit it out." My deep voice boomed with impatience.
"Si-r ..Mr-s Rehman called to inform you of tod-ays Eve-nt."
I nodded and dismissed him. I sat back on my chair and let out a huge breath. Khala won't stop pestering me with calls to attend Ibrahims Wedding. I pressed the buzzer
"Sana please bring me the Freeman Corporation and the financial documents and clear my meetings for the rest of the day."
"Yes sir, I will have the information to you within a few minutes," she replied, as efficient as always. He didn't know how he'd been so lucky to find her but if she ever retired he'd have a hell of a time replacing her.
She brought the information to him and he got to work. He normally knew the business inside and out before he took it over. He was buying it up no matter what. He didn't even care if the buy ended up costing him millions; he had the money to spare.
He was only 30 and had achieved already so much in the business world. He was ruthless in his dealings and was a respected man not only in Pakistan but all over the world. Being the Leader of the most feared Mafia in Pakistan helped, he was getting the support of all the politicians and presidents from all the countries. He studied the papers and made small notes for his assistant. Just then he heard the bell of his phone, without looking at the contact he picked up his phone and regretted it immediately.
"Haider beta when will you arrive, its already late, yeh larka kabhi meri naat nahi sunta."
He sighed and gritted his teeth out of respect for his elder Khala he replied in a clipped voice
"Don't worry Khala I will be there soon enough."
Before his Khala could even reply he ended the call and left his office. As he was making his way out of the building, all of his workers bowed their head in respect. His driver Nasir opened the backseat car door. Haider curtly nodded at him and hopped into his car. He closed his eyes and just thought about a long eventful night.
Farmhouse Wedding
The House was decorated beautifully with flowers and colorful lights. Zara was laughing with the other girls and helped the Bride-to-be with her dress and makeup.
"Sameena baji our poor Jiju will faint when he sees you." Zara teased her Cousin and laughed with the other girls. Her cousin smiled but playfully slapped her shoulder.
"Zara just wait sooner or later you will be sitting in my place and getting ready for your Wedding."
"Sameena baji stop and focus yourself on Jiju oh look there he is.." Sameena turned around but was met by Zaras mischievous smile. "Why you... Zara come here."
Zara ran away and Sameena chased her cousin. Just then Zara's mother entered the room
"Haye Raab Sameena Zara stop playing around we don't have much time left until the Barat arrives and Zara please get ready your dress is inside your room and Sameena sit back and let the beautician finish your Makeup."
Zara laughed at Sameena's grimace when her mother said makeup. She hurried to the guestroom. The family had decided to throw the Wedding at their Taya-Abbus farmhouse. Sameena was the only child of her Taya-Abbu. She wore the mint green dress which was placed on her bed.
The stylist had already curled her long brown hair and she left them like that. She looked in the mirror and smiled her huge doe eyes were painted with light golden shimmery eyeshadow and eyeliner. Her long natural Eyelashes were curled to perfection and her lips were painted with red lipgloss. She grabbed her clutch and went downstairs.
Abdullah her brother with his friends and their cousins was making jokes and laughing when he saw her he winked and gave her a small smile. Zara waved and went to Sameena who looked beautiful in der red golden wedding dress, she was adorned by heavy jewels and bangles and her hands were painted with henna.
"The baraat is here!!" all the girls laughed and went to the window to see the baraat. they were lots of expensive honking cars who were parking in front of their farmhouse it was really loud.
"Sameena baji your groom has arrived."
Sameena blushed and stared down at her hands. Zara looked down and saw Ibrahim Jiju getting out of the car. He smiled and was soon joined by his parents. He and his family were welcomed. All the girls walked downstairs with Sameena and led her to the other section. On the left side where the woman and on the right side were the men, the area was closed by a net cloth. Everyone clapped when the words 'Qabool hain' left Sameenas lips.
"Beta Ibrahim were is your cousin." Ibrahim smiled at his mother "Ammi he was busy he will arrive soon." His mother was fuming and muttered to herself. "Zara beta your Abbu is searching for you go find him."
"Where is he Ammi ?" Zara's mother who was busy with the guests huffed and said
"I don't know beta, he was at the entrance."
Zara lifted herself from Sameena's side and went to the entrance, as she was walking she crashed into a heavy wall
"Stupid wall."
Just then the wall began to speak in a deep husky voice.
" Do I look like a wall to you?" She Jerked to a halt as time seemed to grind to a stop around Zara, her gaze was frozen on the men who was over six foot five and built like a bull. He was looking down at Zara. His cold green eyes scanned her from head to toe, lingering on her hair.
Allah, he was tall. The men beside him were both over six feet but he dwarfed them. Zara's heart stopped right then. The man to his side took a step forward. The outline of a gun was visible under his vest.
"No Adam." Said the men with the cold green eyes. He kept starring at Zara, with an unreadable expression.
"I'm sorry," said Zara, and quickly left. She shuddered still feeling his cold green eyes on her back.
Allah, I don't want to meet him again.
