She had a skeleton in her basement. Literally.
"Hello," the thing suddenly said. "Thanks for letting the air enter; it was quite stuffy in there."
Becca screamed as it crawled out of the hole in the floor.
"You must be the new owner. Did you know the original one was my killer?"
Another scream.
"I'll take that as a no. You should contact your realtor because they owed you money." The creature took out a rib and handed it to her. "I can lend you my bones as evidence if you want."
She looked at it and fainted.
"Poor thing!"
