3rd POV
Deneb came running into Sci's lab, trying to show him his newest invention. "Look! Now I don't have to clean my room!" "Yeah sure cool whatever..." Sci payed no attention to his son and continued his work. "Dad... you didn't even look..." "Go play outside or something."
Sci's POV
I feel bad to send him off but I must finish this project! And then start another... I just don't have time to give attention to him anymore especially since his father left... that asshole left me on my own with a child...
I heard a loud noise from outside, somewhat like a crash or explosion... Deneb came bursting in soon after with a big grin on his face. "Dad! I don't mean to interrupt, but you need to see this!" "See what?!" "That loud crash I know you heard, was an alien spacecraft! I got closer to explore, but found someone, who looks like us!" I was very skeptical. something like this didn't seem very likely. "This better not be one of your jokes." "It's not, he's on the couch!" He trotted out into the living room and to my surprise, another skeleton was on the couch asleep. Deneb poked him to try to get him to wake up. He said something in wingdings, looking around confused. I tried to recall how to speak wingdings, saying something along the lines of 'Speak English?' "O-oh my bad! I didn't know what language or languages this planet speaks. I said, Where am I?" "Well, welcome to Earth then!" Deneb blurted, clearly trying to contain his excitement, but failing. "I made it? I made it! My people and I have been trying to get to earth for centuries!" "Wait, are you saying you're royalt-" "Surely no-" "Actually I am! Prince Outer, pleasure to meet you both, but please call me Outer!" You're kidding. The first alien life form I meet is not only a prince, but is extremely hot?? "Um, are you okay? Your face is really blue!" "H-huh? Oh! Yes I'm fine, just..." I continued to mumble after that before I said something stupid. "Okay???" We awkwardly sat there as we tried to think of something to say, but failed. He started mumbling in wingdings, I could only pick out a few words, something like, 'Damnit... Messed up... won't like' Wait is he talking about me? I tried to calm my blushing, but failed. "So um... I could fix you a place to stay?" "Oh I don't want to be a bother..." "N-no! I insist. You just got here and I want to make your trip as enjoyable (and long) as possible!" "Oh o-ok then." I went to the guest bedroom and got out the bedding. When I finished I walked out to see Deneb and Outer sitting on the couch watching TV and eating a snack. "The room is set up if you wanna check it out. I'll be in the lab if you need anything..."
Outer POV 'Damn he's hot' I thought as I walked to the bedroom. There was a bed, a nightstand, and a dresser. Nice! I went to the door labeled 'lab' and knocked on the door. It slid open and I walked inside. "Hey Outer, do you need anything?" He was sitting at a lab table with notes scattered all around him. "Well I figured we could get to know each other before I find a place to stay." He seemed a bit sad when I said that before straightening up. "Sure! I am pretty curious about your civilization." "Well as you know, I'm a prince, and our civilization is not that different from England, just of course, more advanced. Surprisingly, our life span is quite the same." "Oh nice! I suppose you're wondering if Deneb has another parent.." "Actually yeah!" "His 'father' left me and him when Deneb was born. It was really hard at first, but it was probably for the better that he didn't see the child. He wasn't the best guy." "Oh I'm sorry if I brought back any bad memories!" "It's fine!" We laughed it off.
(Time skip 3rd POV)
After a while of talking, Outer headed off to bed, both of them happy that they got to know each other. Little did they know, they had fallen in love with each other. They both drifted off to sleep thinking of the other.
(Morning)
Sci got out fo bed before everyone and decided to make pancakes for breakfast. When they were finished, he called everyone over. "GUYS BREAKFAST IS READY!" All he got in return was groans. "IT'S PANCAKES!" "HOLY HECK" "WHAT ARE PANCAKES???" Sci and Deneb stared at Outer in disbelief. "Y-you don't know" "W-what pancakes are???" Sci pushed a plate of pancakes across the table to Outer. He took a bite, and his eyes were literally stars. "Oh my godness! This is food of the gods!" "Well I'm glad you like them!" Sci looked over to see his son stuffing his face with food. "Sooooooo goooooooood!" Outer and Sci just laughed. "H-hey Sci?" "Mhmm?" "C-can I talk to you f-for a sec? Like in p-private..." "Sure?" They walked to the guest bedroom and entered. "I know i-it hasn't been v-very long but... I think I-i'm in love with y-you..."
Sci POV 'Holy mother of science he loves me back!' Without thinking I jumped on him, wrapping my arms around his neck and legs around his waist, kissing him. He was surprised, but accepted it and kissed back just as passionate. "Heh.. I love you too!~"
