Review: God Eater Rage Burst 2 (Ruby Rose as guest host)

Caulifla: "OKAY!! FINALLY A KIND OF BLOOD THIRSTY HIT EVERYTHING GAME I CAN GET BEHIND!!"

Ruby: "Er... there's something weirdly familiar about all the weapons in this thing... and there's one character.. is.. she wearing my clothes..? Wait.. IS THAT MY CRESCENT ROSE!?"

Miyoko: "Yeeeahhh.. feels like Remnant only all the Creatures of Grim are on steroids.  anywho.. welcome to the review everyone. Now the important thing to remember about God Eater Rage Burst 2, is that, you're not going to get good graphics. This game.. is.. PRIMARILY.. a remastered version of a PS Vita game.. so home console graphics are pretty easy to see on this game.. I mean it's better than Nintendo 3ds.. probably Switch level.. but not the beautiful graphics we usually expect from a PS4.. so with that in mind.. we'll make the reviews NOT based on the graphics. If you don't think you can handle the lower level graphics.. don't bother with this game.  That being said, this game is decent

I liked it. The game was a whole lot of hack and slash, with amazing combat styles, all suited to you.. the strategy, team building and character customization is so amazingly deep it will definitely take you in. However, it's not Monster Hunter.. people who compare this game to Monster Hunter, you need your eyes checked.. sorry!! It's like confusing Zwei with a Dalmation.. I mean sure they are both dogs.. but.. no.. not the same thing..  Combat is actually far more variated in this game than Monster Hunter..  painful graphics yes.. kind of like... my show season 1 is this game's graphics.. and my show season 5 is normal PS4 level graphics for games of the current era..  Can you believe some guys called Rooster Teeth made a youtube show about me?.

Miyoko's Take:

Much Like Ruby, for the same reasons, I enjoyed the game..  mindless fighting with strategy, and monsters that remind you of the Heartless from Kingdom Hearts, and the monsters from the Xenoblade series.. if it weren't for the lower gen graphics, I'd completely enjoy the game.. but I'd wait for it to be on sale.. it wasn't exactly worth 60 bucks... not with graphics like those. Reason we're lumping pros and cons together, is because this is a 2016 remastered game and I think people already know what to expect from last gen games.

OH MY GOSH IT'S LIKE TOTALLY AWESOME!! I GET TO BEAT EVERYTHING UP!!! YEAAAAHHHH!! YEEEEEEAAAAAAHHHHHH!!! YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!

Overall take:

Miyoko: Good game, bad graphics, that's pretty much the summation. If you're not an anime game fan (though I'm guessing anybody whose a fan of my guild or my buddies Ruby and Yang are..) don't play.. but if you are.. it's worth it.. you'll spend hundreds of hours on this game.. it's addictive if you're in to hack and slash.
