I sighed to myself as I tried to call Melanie's phone for the fifth time, but got no answer once again. Money hadn't come back last night and I was definitely worried about him and where he was. When he left, he was angry and in pain. I wanted to help him and to make him feel better, but he didn't even give me the chance to do so. I had been calling all of their phones this morning, but none of them answered my calls. Right now, I was left out in the dark on the situation, and there was nothing I could do about it, but sit here and wait on someone to call. I didn't have a car, and today the cab service wasn't even open, so I had no other option.
To take my mind off of the incident at hand, I decided to call up my best friend Bianca. It had been a minute since we last talked and I missed her like crazy. We've been tight forever, and things have been real hard without her. I kinda needed somebody here with me, because I didn't feel comfortable all alone right now. We had exchanged cell phone numbers back at the club, so now it was way easier to get in contact with each other.
Me: Hey B, can you come over here. I kind of need some company right about now.
I sent the message and got up from the kitchen counter and fixed me a glass of water. I took a pain killer for my headache and threw the glass back like a shot of liquor. I grabbed my phone from the counter and went into the den. I sat with my feet tucked under me on the couch and checked the screen, in deed she had shot me back a text. I was getting slightly excited.
BFF: Of course, Adrian has been gone all day, so I'm bored anyway. I'll be there in 10, what's the address?
Me: It's 5342 Pine Hill Ave.
It was all set, my best friend was coming to see me and that thought made me a little happier than I was before. I turned the television to Love and Hip Hop reruns and sat there watching Stevie J and Joseline go at it for the millionth time. If Money and I were them, I would have been left his ass. Within the next 10 minutes, she texted me back saying she was at the gate of the house. I got up from my seat and went to the door. I typed in the code that Money had given me and it opened up with ease. I was surprised when a 2014 Dodge Challenger pulled into the driveway. My jaw dropped as she stepped out of the car looking completely flawless.
Bianca was wearing a pair of leather tights that fitted to her shape perfectly, a white Chanel shirt with gold diamonds on the front forming a C, and a pair of gold Louis Vuitton heels. Her hair was curled to perfection down her back and her make-up was done without a flaw. She looked gorgeous, I guess the both of us had come up drastically since graduation night. We had stories behind us.
