Hurricane Michael

For all of those who don't know, just a few days ago a hurricane hit the panhandle of Florida state.

I was nearly in the hurricane. My aunt and uncle had planned to take my sister and I to right where this hurricane hit. We actually drove there, because we were informed it was a tropical storm. In the twelve hours it took to drive to Panama City Beach, it had evolved into a category 2 hurricane. We were at the condo we had rented for the week for an hour before deciding to leave. We went back in a car, going back to where we're from. It was horrible. But, that wasn't even all of it. As soon as we got home we found out that by the time it hit the shore, it would be a category 4, nearly a category 5.

My hearts go out to anyone who lost their homes, possessions, animals, or anything personal items due to this hurricane. I know there's a lot of you.

For those of you who decided to wait out the hurricane in your homes, I hope all of you and your family is okay.

I hope for the people that evacuated when my family and I did, I hope you found a place to stay as hotels were filled until you got into Tennessee.
