Chapter 5

     As we ride back to the palace it took way longer than I expected. All I was thinking about was if the prince's and Rayla were alright. When I was consumed into thoughts I didn't notice that we made it to the palace. As hopped off the horse and followed General Amaya (I learned who her name was spelled) to Viren to the throne room.

" General Amaya what do I owe the pleasure" He said. She started doing hand signs.

" I want to know what is going on and why you are going to take the throne " Her guard said, my eyes widen in what I was hearing. I step right in front of them to speak to him when he spoke before I could.

" Oh miss (Y/N) you are alive ... does that mean that the princes are alright" He spoke. When I looked at him I saw disappointment in his eyes. All I did was nod.

" Well that is nice to hear " He said.

" Yes, it is Sir" I respond. he looked up from me to Amaya.

" Well General I see that since we don't have a hire, I will loyal fully serve you" he said in a bow, after that I banked on the conversation until my name was said.

" (Y/N)!!" Claudia said as I turn to see.

"(Y-Y/N)" Soren stuttered.

" Why are you here " Viren spoke to them sternly.

" Well we heard that (Y/N) was back and we wanted to see if it was true " Claudia said. " And to see if she could help with our little um situation". she whispered to her father.

" Okey (sigh) (Y/N) go with Claudia and help with a problem that we are having" He said, and I nod. We exit the hall to go to the dungeon.

" So, all I want you to take this food in here to him and try to talk to him" Claudia said.

"I got it" I said, then look around to see many guards and people around" Before I go can you and everyone else leave".

" Are you sure you want to do that" She said in a worried tone.

I entered the cell I see a moon shadow elf up in chains by the walls, it broke my heart to see this. But I kept my composure to try and not freak out.

Runaan's POV.

As I hear the cell door open. I didn't even bother to look up to see who it was, when they put the tray down. I expected them to leave but they didn't, instead they sat down right in front of me. As I put my head down even further down I hear the most angelic voice ever...

(So, in the show the producers say that he may be Gay, I'm not saying that there is anything bad with it I just don't want comments saying that I got it wrong or something. I just want to give Runaan some love and his Boyfriend... BACK TO LAY STORY!!!)

" Hello are you alright" They said. I look up to see the (H/C) woman from the first night I was here to kill the king, but I can't let my guard down.

" What do you want Human" I say.

" I just want to know if you are alright" she said. She looked at my arm and frowned at it.

" So... New question does you want that binding off" She said, I was shocked by her question.

" Why! You don't even know how to even Bind it " I responded coldly, as I said that I was blinded by a light for a moment until it was going down. I look up to see that it was HER, her tips of her hair turned a light blond and her ears pointed a bit as a sun elf emblem formed on her right forearm. Then went back to normal.

" Your- You're a sun elf " I said in utter shock. She looked down in disappointment.

" I'm sorry... My mother is human, and my father is a sun elf" she stated " I have three older brother that are full sun elf, with two little brothers that are human, and me being the only girl being a mix of both." I was in utter shock at what I am hearing. I never thought that I would hear something like this.

" Listen I can try to get you out of here because you don't deserve this" She said.

" Are you even sure you can do that human-elf" I said confused.

" listen I can get that binding off and get you back to Xadia" she said " All for the price of you name ".

"Runaan" I answer.

" (Y/N)" she said.

So, her name is (Y/N). Can't believe I'm believing this.

" Are you shore I can even trust you " I sneered.

" Of course, you can" She smiled " I never go back on my promises by oath of the dragon king himself" With her hand risen in the air.

" I promise I will try to get you out of here" She spoke.

I couldn't believe what was going on. This might help with everything. For once in my life I can't tell what will happen next.
