Runaan x reader The Dragon Prince

Chapter 13

               " She's an illusionist" Runaan spoke. The others looked at him ( except Rayla) in disbelief .

"Rayla what is he talking about?" Callum questioned. He was hoping what they were saying was not true. The woman's smile flattened at us and nodded in agreement. 

"My name is lujanne, and yes I am indeed an illusionist" She said with a sad look. Ellis looked at her with shock and sadness all over her face. She looked to her dog Ava ( I give up on the dogs name.... I'm sorry).

"B-But you gave Ava her leg back" Ellis rambled, " It's there and real".

"No, I only made her of what people want to see of her" She explained. They were all put down by her words.

"So that means you can't help us with this" Ezran said while holding up the egg to her. The woman looked shocked to see it's condition. The egg's glow started to fade.

"You have to do something" Rayla freaked out.

"Well there is one thing I can do" lujanne said, "And that is help you."

"Well your not doing a good job at it now" Rayla complained.

"Rayla!" Runaan shouted. Callum stepped forward.

"So what can you do that will help us?"  Callum asked.

"Well for you to be able to save the prince you need a storm for the egg" lujanne said," But sadly a storm won't be coming for a long while". They didn't know what to do. Callum was worried that all their work had come for nothing. As he was losing hope and ideas, he then remembered the primal stone that is in is his bag.

"Guys I think I have an idea" Everyone looked at Callum," What if I smash this on the ground, which could release a big enough power to pull off a storm." 

"That's  not a bad idea" Runaan said.

"It's worth a shot" Rayla agreed. Ezran quickly put the on the ground as Callum was saying a spell.

Then he smashed the stone to the ground. A tornado of rain and lightening came out. It consumed the egg, striking it with lightening. The wind pulled the egg from were it was placed and pulled it to a cliff side about to fall off. They were all to scared to move.

"That  big strike needs to hit the egg" lujanne said. A ball of electricity was building up in the clouds. Rayla jumped into action. She jumped onto the tree limb on the side of the cliff, the limb started breaking at the base. She quickly ran to the cliff before the tree fell.

"I won't be able to get up there in time" Rayla shouted.

"Don't worry" Runaan said. He pulled back his arrows to shoot them into the side of the mountain. Rayla jumped up on the arrows into the lightening releasing it, it was consumed in the lightening.

"Did it work" Ellis asked. The storm dissapeared, and the egg was falling to the ground.

"NNNNNNNOOOOOO" They shouted.

They turn to see Celine's eyes closed while her book is open. The egg is placed on the  ground.

"You did it Celine" Callum shouted as he hugged her, "You can perform magic with out a primale  stone!" Callum was over the moon to see another person is able to do magic that isn't from Xadia. The sound of cracking stopped all the joyful shouting, they all looked to the egg to see it was starting to hatch. Until...
