During these past two months, construction workers were fixing your house. They were making changes to replace all the doors and many other security related things around the house.

A few days ago, you were coming back from school when you noticed two suited men in a parked car near the street where you live. You had realized that they must've been bodyguards the cops sent you for your protection.
They didn't know you knew but you didn't mind them following you, as long as they kept you and everyone around you safe. You haven't heard from your parents but Mae kept on telling you they called and she would buy you presents every week.
You feel like you're being a burden but how could you tell her that the pain you felt when they first left is gone. You're more cheerful now and your heart can't resist Taehyung's charms. He's winning your heart day by day, after the peck he gave you.
Tae didn't want to see you that way though. He just imagined you as one of the boys so he could get over what he feels for you. You tried to wear cute dresses to impress him but he wouldn't even take a glimpse of you. The only ones who seem to care are Jimin and Jungkook.
They always compliment you. You rarely get a single glance from TaeTae and you're starting to grow annoyed. The only time he becomes aware of your existence is when you'd beat him in the video games.

You're in bed already since you had a long day at school. As you're sleeping, Mae gets a call, it's really your parents this time. Your father tells her that they finally caught the culprit and they're heading home tomorrow. Little did you know but tomorrow night, your life was going to change.

It's morning already and you wake up for school. Mae made everyone breakfast. Everyone was done with their food so you walked towards the door with the boys then she stopped you.
"Y/n." Mae said quietly.
"Yes Mom?"
"There's something I have to tell you but when you get back from school, okay?"
You're hoping it isn't another gift. It felt nice at first but then you kind of got bored by all of the things. At first it was fine with the dress and earrings. Then it was the toys, fake makeup and more clothes.
"Okay." You uttered as you walked with Jungkook.
Like usual you two have your arms linked. Jimin doesn't enjoy the sight of you with Kookie so he would link his arm with yours too. Jimin and Jungkook are always glaring at each other when this happens. That's why you try to avoid it by walking faster.
