Runaway

I can't go home that's the first place they will look for me. Zoey is at work. I couldn't face her yet even if she was home. I have to go where they want think to look.

The Club that's where i can go.  I just need a place to thank.

I park my car in the parking garage a few blocks away. The club is closed so no one will be there and Styles is out of town. I unlock the door and go inside I turn off the alarm system and turn on the dance floor lights. I go sit at the bar in the dark and pour me a drank I need something to help with the emotional pain I'm feeling. Its to quite I'm feel like I'm draining in my thoughts. I go over to the D J table and turn on some music not to loud.

I walk over to the dance for and start to dance and cry my heart out. I feel a hand on my shoulder that scared me to death. I jump and turn to see Styles standing there.

He see my tears are you alright.

NO! I say falling into his arms and him embracing me.

What's wrong he ask holding me tighter the harder I cry.

I finally get myself together and pull out of his embrace. I'm sorry.

No, don't be do you want to talk about it.

No, I can't not now I tell him.

Alright whenever your ready.

I thought you was out of the state.

I'm leaving today.

I see some movement coming from the bathroom area. l look and she a very pretty dark haired girl walking towards us.

Lexy this is my sister Melissa.

Hey I say nice to meet you. I didn't know you had sister.

Yeah, we have a huge family. Four sisters and three brothers. Eight of us in all. She's been here a few weeks looking at schools here in the states.

That's great. Is it your first time here. I ask her.

Yes, but not my last I love it here. You ever been to Italy?

No, says Lexy .

You should came it's so beautiful there.

I wish I could hop on the plane with you'll today. I need a break from everyone.

What's stopping you? Melissa ask.

I thought for a second nothing but me going home and getting my passport. I had a huge fight with my parents and they might be there waiting for me to come home. And I can't face them right now.

Wow! that must been a huge fight Styles says.

You can't imagine!

I'll go get your passport for you, says Melissa

What? says Styles

No, I couldn't ask you to do that and what if they are at my house I couldn't put you thru that.

Melissa knew her brother liked Lexy and her vacationing with them would help bring them together. Her brother was getting older and it was about time that he settle down even if he needed some help doing it.

Lexy phone rings its her mother. Lexy push ignore. Her mother then text her.

The text read. Just let me know you are alright.

Excuse me Lexy turns her back to respond to the text.

I just need some time alone to let this all sink end. I'll come by in the morning so we can talk. Please give me same space until then.

While Lexy was texting her mother Styles ask his sister what the hell was that all about.

Mama said to find you a girlfriend while I was here so that's what I'm doing?

Lexy turns back around.  Hey are you'll serious about me vacationing with you guys I would love to go.

Styles puts a huge smile on his face we would love to have you he says we have plenty of room you can stay with us as long as you want.

Good you think we can stop on the way to the airport so I can pack a bag and get my passport. And if we have time stop by the bank also.

I left my car in the parking garage and road with Styles. We stopped by the bank and I withdraw all my money closing my accounts I didn't know when I was returning or how much things cost in Italy so to be safe I was talking all my money. I was happy to see that no one was waiting for me at home for once they listened. I took Melissa with me to pack a bag. When I was locking up my condo my phone rang and I looked down to see Chance calling.

For a second I was happy then I remembered.  All the hurt flooded my heart again. I laid the phone on the coffee table and locked the door.

The condo is dark. Lexy's phone lights up with a text from Chance.

It reads I think I love You!
