Chapter 1: When it Started
It all started on the day I saw her face. Her face dazzled in the light of the early morning Sun as it slowly arose from its slumber."Charles!" my mother called. I turned back and watched as my mother was getting ready for her daily day of work. She worked at who knows where. She always kept where she worked a secret. I mean I think I can handle it. I'm fifteen I mean really.
"Now Charles" mother began. "Remember to at least try to mmake some riends. You've seemed..." before she was able to finish I just rolled my eyes and walked away. It seems like people just don't get me sometimes. I mean my mother is always telling me to make new friends ,but this is all she ever tells me to do. This was our seventh time moving to a different house in two years. I was done making friends, falling in love, and getting to attached.
It was first day at this new school called Lester High School. "Have a great day and don't forget to make some friends." his mother told him as he got out of the car.
As his first class began he sat down in a chair and they introduced themselves. It was kind of just like normal class nothing to do but sit and learn the same stuff over and over again. The rest of that period was kind of a blur.
The same thing pretty much happened in his second period too. The same introducing and reviewing stuff they already knew.
The third period however was slightly different. As everyone was introducing themselves, Charles notice a beautiful girl sitting across from him. "Hi my name is Kate." Kate explained.
Charles was awed with her beauty. She had lushes light brown hair that flowering past her shoulders. Her eyes where the perfect blue and her was white but with a slight tan.
Charles just kept starring at hear with an dumb look plastered across his white face. He knew that he liked. Part of him-self wanted to be with her every second of everyday ,but the other part of him-self told him not to like her and to just let her go or else he would have to move again and maybe never see her again.
He liked her and his likeness for her was getting stronger by the minute, but he knew he would just have to not make his love for her deep. He would have to try to let his love for Kate float in shallow waters for as long as he could.
"Hello my name is.....uh......Charles "I explained as if I was in a daze. I just couldn't stop looking at Kate. So third period went on as I sat in the back of the class starring at Kate.
It turned out that she was in my fourth, and seventh period too. I couldn't believe my luck as the day went on all I could think about was Kate, her beauty, and her smarts. Kate got nothing bit A's as I kept watching her each day.
After about four days I couldn't take it anymore. I had to make a move. I knew that I shouldn't, but I couldn't help myself. I couldn't hold back I didn't know what to say or do. I had only had two other girlfriends and I had to move away only a week or two after I started dating the first one. Then I only had about a week of time to spend with the second one.
Then I realized I had to just go and take charge. I needed this to happen, butt at the same time this shouldn't happen. This is going to happen no matter what, I thought to myself.
I started walking toward Kate and then realized that she was walking towards me. My heart skipped a beat as soon as she stopped right in front of me and starred at me.
"So" Kate started. She had such a precious voice. "I've noticed that you keep looking at me" she said with a slight grin on her beautiful face. "I..I...I..." I stuttered not knowing what to say. The grin grew slightly on Kate's face.
That's when I knew that I had a chance.
