"Charles start packing, we're moving in two days." My dad announced.
My heart pounded against my chest. I couldn't believe what I was hearing. How could we leave SO soon? Kate and I never even really got to be with each other.
Yes we got to hang out, but that's not what love is about. It's about being with them, knowing that even through tough fights you will always stick together. That even though when you feel lonely, they'll always be there to comfort you.
"No!" I mumbled. "This can't be happening!" I yelled out pound to no one in particular.
"Is there something wrong?" my dad asked with a confused expression plastered onto his face.
"Yes! There is something wrong!" I screamed at him. Having been through this so many times before my father wasn't fazed a bit.
"Well, you'll just have to get over whatever's bothering you." My father responded as he walked pass me into the house.
I have gone through this to many times. I am not doing it again though. I just can't handle it any more....
I quickly rushed to Kate's house to tell her everything.
Once I got to the house, I quickly knocked on the door.
"Hello" Kate's dad said.
It was still awkward between us but I needed to be with Kate right now.
"Where is Kate? Can I talk to her?!?!" I questioned him.
"Kate is in the hospital. She has cancer." He said in a sad, sad voice.
