The drive home was nice and pleasant.
We didn't talk much but at the same time the emotions did the talking for us. "So" I said finally breaking the silence. "So" Kate responded with a shy smirk on her face.
We made small talk for the rest of the drive. " I guess we'll meet up at my house tomorrow to finish up the project?" I asked with hope in my voice. "I suppose so" Kate said as she got out of the vehicle.
I thought about Kate for the rest of the drive. When I got to my house I over heard my mother and father talking in their office about how they where going to tell me something tomorrow.
I didn't have time to really listen to them so I cleaned my room and fell asleep on my bed.
The next day I watched the time tick by as I waited for the moment when I would see Kate again even though I had just saw her the other day, it felt like I hadn't seen her in years.
"BANG, BANG, BANG!!!"
She's here!!! I quietly screamed to myself.
I ran to the door and flung it open. But it wasn't Kate.
My world turned upside down, my head spun, as I heard the words that would change my life, forever.
