The Love That Never Ends

Chapter 4: Relastionships

    As you know, since the most recent past couple of moves around the country, I haven't been much of a relationship kind of guy. Well now that guy is kind of changing.

    I walked Kate all the way back to her house which probably was only a quarter of a mile away from mine. "I had fun tonight" Kate whispered to me as we approached her front door.

    "Me too" I replied with happiness in my voice.

     "See ya tomorrow" Kate said as she opened her front door. Before I could say anything else, she disappeared into the darkness inside.

     "Hello class" Mr. Smithers my third period teacher greeted. "Today I am going to put all of you into pairs for a project." Mr. Smithers continued, as I listened to my teacher talking about our project for school I couldn't help but hope that he would pair Kate and I together.

       "Madison your with Tony." Mr. Smithers continued until it was up to Kate, myself, and two other geeky guys. So far my chances where looking good.

        Then I heard the four words that gave me a better shot with Kate.

        " Charles your with Kate"

         All I could think about was that this is so freaking amazing!

         "Now everyone go find your partner and start discussing the designs for your project's layout. I jumped out of my seat and ran over to Kate's desk before anyone could even move an inch.

          "So babe...." I started trying to act all cool while I leaned up against her desk. I couldn't help but laugh before I could even finish my act. Kate also decided to join into the laughter.

           "Ok but seriously," I began "Where do you wanna meet up at?" I asked. "Well if you want we can meet up at my house at six?" Kate said.

           "Ok" Charles agreed and for the rest of the day he just went along with the normal school day. The thought of meeting up with Kate again later that day, seemed to make the day it's self speed up a little bit.

           Before Charles knew it, it was already time to start heading over to Kate's house for their little 'meeting'.

           Before Charles could even reach for the door bell the door swung open. Kate was standing in the doorway with her beautiful smile open wide.

           "It's about time" Kate said as she broke the silence. "It's already six-o-one!!!" Kate continued and then started laughing. It didn't take me long to join in. "Well come in" Kate gestured.

             Her house was a nice clean two story house with both carpet, and hard wood floors.

            "So shall we get started?" Kate playfully questioned. "I guess we shall" I playfully answered back.

             Kate led me up to her room. As we where walking up the stairs I got to meet Kate's dad. "Hello you must be Charles, my name is Mark I am Kate's father" Mark explained with a friendly smile on his face. We shook hands and then Kate and I continued up the stairs.

             When we reached Kate's room, she opened the door and we both went in. When we both entered Kate turned around and closed her bedroom door.

              "Okay so what you wanna talk about?" Kate asked. "Well aren't we suppose to start on our project?" I asked a little confused. " Charles we are both really smart so we can finish the project like it's nothing so I just thought that we would you know just hang out" she said.

                After about ten minutes of just sitting there Kate finally broke the awkward silence. "Charles I am in love with you and I want to know if you truly feel the same way?" Kate said. "I do" and before we could say anything else I pulled Kate into a kiss.

                It was shortly interrupted when Kate's door flew open. "It's already seven I think you should be getting home by now Charles" Kate's dad said with a somewhat mad expression on his face.
