"Hanna, what are you doing here? Aren't you in Australia by now?" Jade asked her long time friend.

"Cancelled my flight. I decided to stay. I feel like this is my home." She smiled sincerely but Jade wasn't feeling it.

Jade and Hanna we're really good friends until she became cocky when she became the valedictorian along with a bunch of awards Jade was aiming for.

And that happened all because Jade  can't.

"Sorry Hanna, can we talk next time?" Jade looked at Chan but then he suddenly shook his head.

"Oh... Jade, it's alright. I can wait."He smiled at Jade, which made her blush this time.

"Huh? You seem to have company. I didn't see you, I'm sorry. I'm Hanna, by the way. " She said in a flirty voice, and then they shook hands. Jade noticed this and rolled her eyes.

She's still a flirt until now.

"Chan." He replied with a firm voice. Minho told Jade about this. If he speaks like that, he's probably not interested.

And she was right.

"I'm sorry but Jade and I have to go. Our other friends are waiting for us. Maybe next time you could join us." Chan said kindly. Hanna's expression darkened and glared at Jade before going back to Chan with hearts in her eyes.

She then placed her right hand on his shoulder and smiled.

"Looking forward to it." And finally, she left. Chan looked back at Jade, who had a change of expression.

"I knew you hated that girl." He stated.

"I do. Is that why you did that? Sending her away?" He nodded and smirked.

"I didn't like her too, actually. I can tell she's flirting with me." Chan ran his fingers through his hair and down his nape. Jade stopped walking.

"Why not? She's kind... At some point in her life." Chan chuckled at her response when suddenly he positioned himself in front of Jade. She got startled and looked up only to lock gazes with him.

"I like somebody else anyways. She's better than her." Not only did she blush at his comment and actions, but also him speaking in English. She understands him a bit and Chan noticed.

"I knew you understood English." He laughed as he pinches her cheeks.

"How did you know?"

He then continued walking, making Leslie follow him.

"Easy. You were blushing." He smiled with his teeth showed. She mentally face palmed herself.

"It's just a bit of English."

Times passed and the sun's going down really fast. They met up with the other members to eat dinner. Chan then brought everyone to a restaurant.

"Let's eat!" Chan spoke and they all cheered. They must have been hungry.

Another hour passes and it's time for everyone to go home. Before that, Leslie and Minho had a little chat.

"So, how's Chan hyung?" He said teasingly. Jade nudged him and made him laugh.

"He's fine. Now go home and sleep. You're just tired."

Minho waved goodbye to the 2 girls and got in the car. They watch them drive away and Hada and Jade walked hand in hand to the parking lot.
