"Wake up, Jade! You're gonna be late for school at this point." Hada said as she draws the curtains back, making the sun light up the whole room. Jade groaned as she saw the light blinding her.
"What time is it?"
"7:15. " Jade suddenly springs up and ran to the bathroom. She hates being late.
Fortunately, she arrived just in time for her first subject. Hada was there already since she left right after she woke Jade up.
"You arrived. That's great." Hada whispered to Jade, making her flinch a bit and laughed falsely.
"Yeah, I did. You know I hate being late." Hada nodded in agreement.
"By the way, go to your locker later. I'll give you something." Jade was curious.
"Why can't you give it now?" She asked her friend.
"Because it's in the locker, duh." That sarcasm really makes her more annoying.
The bell has rung, which means she can see the gift already. She was excited for some reason. She then arrived at the locker and saw Hada walking towards her with a paper bag in it.
"Read the letter." Jade immediately grabbed it and read.
Hey Jade noona!
We just went around Gangnam yesterday and I thought you would need this for school, so here you go!
Jeongin
"It's from Jeongin. It's a planner." She opened it and saw a red planner. Just like what she wanted.
"Just on time! Your planner's just finished, right?" Hada exclaimed. Jade just nodded and immediately called Jeongin to thank him.
Jade
"Hey Jeongin!"
Jeongin
"Hi noona! How's school going?"
Jade
"It's alright. By the way, thanks for the planner. I was just thinking of buying a new one."
Jeongin
"And let me guess, that's the planner that you exactly wanted."
Jade
"Yeah. How did you know that?"
Jeongin
"You went to Gangnam with your sister and she saw me. She then pointed at you and I saw you staring at that."
Jade
"That's nice, Jeongin. But you didn't have to buy it for me. I was gonna buy it when I get my allowance."
Jeongin
"Don't worry about it, noona. Think of that as a gift instead."
Jade
"Thank you again."
Jeongin
"No problem, noona. Just remember that I'll always be here if you want someone to talk to."
Jade
"Noted. I'll be going. Classes will start soon. Bye!"
Jeongin
"Bye noona! Good luck!"
The call ended and Jade had a smile on her face as she walks to her next class.
I wish I had a friend like him with me right now.
