It's been a few days after the assignments has been passed and it was the time that they will know the results.

Jade got an A!

"Wow! I didn't know you were this good in English." Espie said as she reads through her article/assignment.

"I had a great teacher." Jade said.

"Isn't it Chan?" Hada blurted out, which made Espie raise her head and showed mischievousness in her eyes. Jade glared at Hada, which made her cover her mouth.

"Who's Chan?" Espie asked with fluttering eyes. Jade then moved her head away with her hand, making Espie pout.

"He's a friend. But he's not the one who taught me. It was someone else."

"Really? Who?" They both looked at her with fluttering.

"I told you. Another friend, okay? Now I have to attend a class." Jade walked away from the two as fast as she can and when she lost them, she giggled to himself.

"Phew. I knew they we're gonna do that." She said to herself.

Suddenly, her phone rang showing an unknown number. She answered it and was shocked when she found out who it was.

Hyunjin
"Hey Jade! It's me, Hyunjin."

Jade
"Hyunjin oppa?"

Hyunjin
"Yep. New number. So how's your homework? I remember that today was the giving of results."

Jade
"Oh, I got an A!"

Hyunjin
"Wow! Congratulations!"

Jade
"Thank you oppa."

Hyunjin
"I wish I could at least treat you out for that. I'm really proud of you."

Jade
"Oppa, you don't have to. You're probably busy."

Hyunjin
"Yeah, but... Maybe next time then?"

Jade
"Sure, why not?"

Hyunjin
"Ok, great!"

"By the way, you might be wondering something right now, aren't you?"

Jade
"Actually... I was wondering about Felix."

Hyunjin
"I knew it. That's actually why I contacted you instead. He doesn't want to talk to you. Not because he hates you or anything. He's just shy."

Jade
"Oh. I understand."

Hyunjin
"He's fine, if you're worried."

"Anyways, are you almost done with school?"

Jade
"Actually, it just ended."

Hyunjin
"Oh okay, I'll be going then. Congrats again, Jade!"

Jade
"Thank you so much oppa!"

The call ended and she went straight to the auditorium to fix some things.

Before she left the place, she saw something on one if the chairs. She slowly approached it. It was a box.

She looked at it closely and saw a piece of paper on it.

Hey Jade!

I know I said it already through the call and everything but I really want to treat you out for even just snacks. I'm weird, I know. So, here you go! Your favorite cake!

Jade and Hyunjin have been talking through the phone. Sometimes short conversations, sometimes it takes up a whole 3 hours. They became best friends in an instant.

She then texted Hyunjin back.

no problem! maybe i wont have time to be with you so i will just give it to you then 😊
