Daniel stares at the house. He's trying to encourage himself. His eyes are closed when he does so.

After on deep last breath, Daniel opens his eyes. His eyes shine with determination. He will save his Corbyn from those monsters inside.

He doesn't know what they already did with him, but it must be horrible.

Daniel walks towards the side of the house and sees the window that he left open yesterday. Now he is thanking himself that he did that. He can't go in through the front door since it squeaks way too loud. He would get the attention of the two murderers and one of them will come down and see him.

Daniel doesn't want that.

Slowly he opens the window just enough for him to get in. As careful ad he can he climbs up the windowsill, almost losing hos balance and falling to ground.

Daniel was right. Pushing the button on the ball will be the easiest part of the whole plan.

Daniel regains his balance and breaths out in relief. That almost went wrong.

More careful now, he puts one foot down on the floor inside the house. He's in the bathroom now.

Now he can hear the voices coming from upstairs. From the bedroom.

They must still be there then.

Daniel wonders how he will get Mike and Austin both outside the room. As he yells for their attention or makes a sound. Only one of them will some and check it out.

With A bit of luck they will be stupid enough to both come out of the room Cornyn is in.

But Daniel doesn't want to ruin his one chance. If he screws this up, there will be no hope left. Jonah isn't here to save his ass now.

As silent as possible he walks over the white tiles on the floor. Daniel doesn't know how sensible the ghosts' hearing really is.

To his great relief, his shoes don't squeak and Daniel reaches the door soundless. (AN: Also make sure to read my book soundless on my other account it's Dorbyn :) )

He allows himself to smile a bit and congratulate himself in his head for doing great so far.

He lays his hand on the door knob. With his tongue peeking from between his lips, Daniel pushes it down and then slowly pulls the door open.

Right on that moment a gust of wind goes through the room and the still open window smacks closed with a loud sound.

Daniel's eyes widen when the voices stop talking for a moment.

"What was that?" He hears one of the ghosts upstairs yell.

"Maybe he's here already." Be heard the other one say with a chuckle.

"Go check then, Mike." The one who say that must be Austin then. "Bring him here so he can see the way we torture his love one."

Daniel starts to panic. He will come into the bathroom and see him. That's not supposed to happen.

Quickly the blue eye boy looks through the room for a hiding spot. Then his eyes land on the cupboard under the sink. He doesn't remember putting stuff in there yet and with a bit f luck he might just fit in.

Daniel can already hear the footsteps on the stairs. They don't sound like ordinary footsteps, but like echoes.

As fast as possible when being quiet, Daniel runs to the cupboard and opens it. It's a small space but if this doesn't work, he can just offer himself to Mike to go upstairs with him.
