Dallas hadn't stopped pacing. She couldn't sleep. Knowing her mom was alive and Fallon was waiting to catch up, drove her to the edge.

"Dallas, come on. Please just come to bed. It's cold and it's late," Sweet Pea whined. He hadn't been able to fall asleep with Dallas not the. He'd forced himself out of bed and stalked into the living room. His hair was a mess and

"I just don't understand. Fallon shows up in town the exact same day that my mom suddenly appears. If I didn't know them better I would say....."

"You think that they showed up here together?" Sweets asked. She nodded slowly, and slumped onto the couch. Sweet Pea walked over to her and sat beside her.

It was silent between the pair. Dallas knew he held a million questions. She didn't blame him, her life was in a permanent topsy-turvey.

"I know you have so many questions. And I'll answer them eventually. I'm just till trying to wrap my head around it all," she said looking up at him. He didn't answer, instead he just kissed her.

"You have tryouts tomorrow. So you need to go to sleep. I need you to cheer me on, in that little uniform," he whispered.

"Oh shut up," Dallas yelled punching his shoulder.

"Dal baby, how've you been?" Jaime ran up next to Dallas as she left her Spanish class.

"Terrible, if I'm being completely honest," Dallas snickered.

"You got time to talk sis?" he asked.

"No. I'm going to Vixen tryouts. Don't. Laugh."

Jaime couldn't hide his grin. "You? Sorry if you don't strike me as the pom-pom type."

"I know, I know. But with Sweets on the basketball team I figured, why not?"

"So back to you and your terribleness, can I do anything to help?"

"Unless you could distract my mom and ex-girlfriend-" Dallas laughed morbidly.

"Give me the address babe. I'm on it. Moms love me and so do ex-girlfriends." He cocked an eyebrow and as soon as he received Teddy Fogarty's address, he was on his way to Pinedale.

Dallas left with a weight lifted off her shoulders. With Fallon and her mom distracted for the time being, she could focus on tryouts.

"Welcome to the Vixens, D. Enjoy the privileges that come with the uniform," Cheryl spoke swiftly.

"Thanks Cheryl," Dallas said with a genuine smile.

She hopped out of the gym, a spring in her step. She looked down at her phone just as It began to buzz. Jaime's goofy grin popped up on the screen requesting to FaceTime. She clicked accept but was shocked to see him in a face mask.

"Dally! Babe! You have got to get that pale little ass of yours over here to Pinedale," he screeched into the phone.

The background was loud and his camera work was shaky.

"What the hell is going on Jai?"

"Girls night baby! Your mom is freaking cool and Fallon is THAT bitch. Get over here and you can do face masks with us," he yelled again, this time bringing a draw to his lips.

"You're joking right?" Dallas snapped.

Jaime turned the camera to face outwards and she saw her mom and Fallon both looking like Jai. They were obviously drunk, singing at the top of their lungs to some Lady Gaga song from 2012.
