searching the crowded cafeteria near the mall her brother told her, minji goes on a lookout for hwang hyunjin after she asked minho if he happens to know where hyunjin is.

her eyes divert from the ttaekbokki stall to a guy wearing a white hoodie paired with black jeans and white converse from afar heading to a shop.

a hint of joy creeped to her face as she kept her eye on him while rushing in between the crowds to approach him.

but the pace of her feet slowed down after seeing him accompanied by someone. her tracks completely stopped as this person wasn't just anyone but the person she hated for no reason at all ㅡ almira.

but that didn't stop her. of course, not! she was a new person for him remember?

while catching up the pace of the two, she remembered the moments hyunjin would text her he likes her. and that made her even more boosted to go to him and apologize. she is sure of herself as well, she is sure of what she feels.

she is sure of the possibility he'd accept her sorry and they'd go back to where they started. she is.

finaly reaching the shop, she spotted the two sitting in the far edge of the restaurant. looks like he took out almira for a date or something. again, she was never bothered if he did ask almira out.

walking to the pair, she flashed a smile and looked over from almira to hyunjin.

"is there anything you need of?" the blonde asked.

"yes. in fact i am here to talk to hyunjin. if that'd be fine." minji showed no sign of nervousness although her heart was about to beat out of its cage any time now.

"what do you want?" the boy asked with a frown.

"can we at least talk alone?"

"i believe there is nothing wrong if almira listens too, right?"

minji bit her lower lip but continued.

"oh, alright. what i wanted to say is, i'm sorry and that i wanna believe that you like me even if you only said that in texts." she made a wince face but soundless. she expected his smile in return for she knows hyunjin would always be the jolly and happy go lucky boy he was.

however a snort followed by a voluntary stopped laughing was heard from almira.

minji's eyes averted to the foreign girl however hyunjin's eyes were straight looking at minji.

"hey fatty. listen, if you think hyunjin really likes you just because he texted you, then you are wrong, okay? he's not the 'good boy' you expected him to be. because ever since the beginning, he's my bad boy." almira flipped her hair in a classy manner before leaning in to grab hyunjin's chin and planting a kiss right in his plump lips right in front of minji.

minji's eyes couldn't help but water out. but she wasn't the type to just run away and cry like a freak.

"i expected better from you. you were a lie after all. hope your conscience slaps you one day." and with that, she made her way out of the shop without even breaking in tears. only a tear left her right eye after forcing herself not to cry. she didn't grimace at how it broke her heart instead she made a small smile at how brave she was for trying.
