"really, almira?" hyunjin's face lit up with happiness after what she told him.

"yeah it's true. it's suppose to be bad news but like why the heck are you smiling like a dork?" the blondie rolled her eyes at him.

"i'm just happy i finally caught what he's been doing all this time. wait til they all hear about this." he said, looking at the photos from the girl's phone.

"but i still can't believe minji is skinnier now. not that i am bullying her or anything but it's just weird to see someone unexpectedly thin." she expressed.

"i know. i didn't see it coming too."

"you still like her don't you?"

hyunjin didn't say anything and just looked at her.

"because if you don't then you wouldn't be so bothered about what her boyfriend is doing behind her all this time." she crossed her arms and leaned back.

"it's complicated." he said shortly.

"what is?" she raised a brow. "your damned feelings? are you still the confused hwang hyunjin who wouldn't admit he likes minji?"

"alright fine you got me." he furrowed his eyebrows. "i know i was a jerk and still am. but you were also a bitch before."

"was and still am." she shrugged.

"but i wanna tell her i like her, okay? it's just hard after she told me i didn't deserve her." hyunjin bit his lip as he said those words.

"go tell her you idiot. girls are just saying those things to keep the guys following them. but i have no idea with minji. judging on her attitude, she doesn't lie when she says things. maybe she really does mean it. and maybe she doesn't. maybe she was just confused too. there are a lot of maybes okay? the best way to know the real maybe is to confront her, stupid."

"you're right. for once, you are right." hyunjin laughed.

"hello? expert here?" she shrugged as she sipped her coffee. "anyway if you need more spying business i'm the best. if you want me to do a lap dance with azuma boy, i'd gladly oblige."

she winked after leaving the boy.

hyunjin and almira became friends after the little incident. turns out only almira was the one whom hyunjin tells his feelings too. yet they never had other special relationship as he knows almira already became a mom.

he was like her son, ironically. he trusts her with his sorrows and she helps him get over them. especially about minji.
