With a knock on the door I was let out of my room and all of us filed down the hall to the cafeteria. I looked around for Lucas so I wouldn't sit by myself, but he was nowhere.
By the the time I had gone through the line and gotten back out everyone else was seated. Still no Lucas. Not even the girl from last night was here.
I sat at a table by the window and waited for them, but they didn't show.
Maybe they were at therapy. Visiting day was tomorrow so I had no clue where else they could be.
Pushing those thought aside I thought back to all the stuff I had read in the journal.
How some kid had been running a drug scam and got caught when he stuck it in the vents on a hot day. The smell of marihuana filled the place and they tracked it back to him.
How one of the nurses had an affair with the patients and they killed themselves when they got caught.
This place had history. Not good history, but history.
I finished the soggy eggs and bread then dumped my tray. They gave us our pills earlier, but I took them now to avoid having an empty stomach.
I swallowed them down dry leaving a trail of nasty coating on my tounge after them.
Moving on in the day we headed to the open rec room.
According to Jimmy Thursdays were board game days. Monopoly, Uno, cards, and whatever else they had were ours to use.
I remember reading his entree on how to win at chess every time and thinking how boring it must've been here.
In the rec room there was the same wore couches that I had seen yesterday when I met Lucas and Alice. I didn't expect much to be different, so I don't know why I was a little struck by them being there.
I was about sit down when I saw Lucas walk in. He walked over to me and sat with me on the couch.
Where were you? I asked
Remember last night? Well I somehow managed to walk into a closet instead of my room and the guard didn't leave until now. God my back hurts. I fell asleep against the door.
I laughed at how he cringed his back.
Hey guess what I found?
I shrugged as he leaned down to pull something out of his shoe and into his hands.
It was a key card like the ones they used for all the doors here and it read: ALL ACCESS
Dude! Wha- where did you-? I stammered.
Shh! He hushed sneaking it back and holding a finger to his lips.
The supply closet I walked into had some coat and I grabbed on cause it got cold and it was just in there. I figured I'd take as my own personal reward. He smirked and I rolled my eyes at him.
We sat there talking about the people in the room like teenage girls for a while then everyone began to line up again.
We headed down the hall to group therapy and there was still no sign of Alice.
Everyone sat down into the hard steel chairs arranged in a circle and a woman walked in. She didn't have on white like everyone else but instead she had on a pair of purple scrubs.
She smiled a big derpy smile.
Hey guys nice to see some familiar faces back and new one too, so for those of you who don't know me my name's Callen but that's more formal so you guys can call me Cali.
She sat down and began to ask for our names and stories.
When they got to me I said My name and that I tried to overdose thinking that was it, but it wasn't.
Why? She asked
No one else had to say why. Why me?
I don't know. I mumbled.
She tilted her head and furrowed her eye brows at me.
My palms began to sweat and my head felt like it was swelling. It was the truth so why was I so nervous about it?
Looking up our eyes met and she shook off the question and moved along.
The rest of the session was normal and everyone shared their tragedy.
At the end of it we lined up again to go to lunch, but Cali called me to stay behind.
I have someone that is going to help you through this. She whispered.
You do? She nodded
Tonight before tuck in he'll come get you and tak you to his office. You'll like him, I promise.
She left it at that and I became anxious to see what she meant.
The rest of the day went by incredibly slow. It got to the point where I would look at the clock every what seemed five minutes and thirty seconds had passed.
When it was finally time to head back to our rooms to shower and get ready for bead I did, but instead of pajamas I put on clothes.
I heard a faint knocking at the door and opened it.
He stood there.
He was about my height, maybe taller, blond, freckles and glasses what I could only describe as hipster. His hair was curly and had gel to make the front stand up.
He he'll out his hand and put on a smile.
Kevin? I'm Nick, it's nice to finally meet you.

H-hello guys, aren't you glad I updated quick? I tried really hard to make up from the last to kinda late ones. In this one I kinda put some friends in here. I'm going to put one more in here, but that'll be it. Unless I get more inspiration for a sixth character. I hope you guys a good still cause I'm still sick and feeling like crap. I'm going away for the weekend though for a 'vacation' to my grandmas house. I won't have Wi-Fi until Monday so no update until then. Love you guys!
