All six of you made your way to Cerebro, Moira stared at the room in disbelief, "the CIA would kill for this" "I know they will" Charles spoke sadly as Hank adjusted the helmet. You stood on the other side of Charles; his eye was wide in wonder as he searched for Erik. ___ "Hello, old friend. " Charles greeted before a small whimper, "I'm sorry. I am so sorry. I feel your pain. And your loss." Charles' eyes were watery you clasped his hand he squeezed back. You closed your eyes sadly, Erik lost his family again. You knew how that felt. "What happened to them, it was terribly wrong. But, come back to us. I can help you." He continued pausing as he communicated with Erik "Think of your wife, think of your daughter." After silence Charles tensed "Hank. " he mumbled, "He's not alone." You gasped seeing Charles body go rigid; his eyes were black, demonic like. You immediately crouched facing him, using your power to stabilise him "Oh my god," Charles uttered- you had never heard Charles with this much fear. "Charles!" You yelled shaking him Raven yelled the same to the professor, You turned to Hank, "help him" you yelled your voice coarse "I have never felt power like this before." He cried In the background, you could hear Moira yelling in confusion Hank went to grab the gear from Charles, but the professor let out a blood-curdling scream, his hands tightened on the armrest knuckles turning white. You grabbed Charles face with tears blurring your vision. Your hands began to glow as you attempted to aid Charles. Hank started ripping the cords only succeeding in making the pain worse. ___ Charles gasped leaning forward momentarily escaping whatever possessed him, "Destroy it! Destroy everything." He yelled at Alex who looked at you in confusion "Destroy Cerebro! Wreak havoc." With Charles final words Alex projected plasma blast at the walls of Cerebro. The walls peeled off in the fire bringing Cerebro down all of you rushed out, you dragged Charles to safety. "Charlie are you okay" you cooed you hand caressed his cheek, and he leant into your hold, "I am now love." The purple ripple bloomed at the end of the corridor. Four figures approached you: Psylocke, Storm and Apocalypse you recognised however the one with metal wings was a stranger. Then there was Erik. " Get back' you yelled rushing forward creating a forcefield Erik had a blank face as he used his metal manipulation against Charles chair, the metal warrior man glared at you hurling multitudes of blades at your shield knocking you to the ground. You got up just in time to jump into the portal that had consumed Charles. ___
It was hot. You tasted sand in your mouth, and you groaned moving, so you were on your side, your vision hazy. You could make out Apocalypse with his four followers guarding him. "My child" Apocalypse directed to you, "you will see the true limit of your powers and join us. Or you will die" You blinked staring until the distortion fixed itself, "Charles" you mumbled seeing Charles against the rock, I'm okay love he spoke into your mind You went to move but found your leg incased in the sand; you struggled for a few seconds before stopping. " I can shield their minds from your power. It's one of the many gifts I have acquired throughout the millennia. But to... see...inside a mind. To control it. That's your gift. You saw it, didn't you? The glory of what's to come." Apocalypse exclaimed Charles ignored him before looking at his old friend, "Are you going to take part in all this killing? Destruction?" You looked at Charles then back to Erik "It's all I ever known." You turned around looking back over the cliff. It was a long way down. "I showed him a better way. A better world." He spoke, his voice low and godlike "No, you just tapped into his rage and pain. That's all you've done. I told you from the moment I met you, there's more to you, Erik. There is good in you too." "Whatever it is you think you saw in me, Charles. I buried it. Along with my wife and daughter." You sighed, "Erik I'm sorry you lost your daughter and wife. Seriously this... Destroying this earth is not what they want. If you do this, you will be ripping up the ground where they are buried. You may have lost your family, but you have us" you spoke rather harshly. Charles looked at you incredulous along with Erik. ___
The angel moved to pick up Charles as he and Apocalypse went, "If you do not join us, Sol, then perish" he nodded at Psylocke who unsheathed her sword. "Don't you dare hurt her. Stay away from her!" Charles screamed struggling in his captives hold. Psylocke began walking towards you, her a sword in one hand and a psionic weapon in the other, you went back frantically trying to get your leg unstuck. She strikes you-you dodged one. Unfortunately, it still caught your arm slicing it almost to the bone. You cried out in agony. "I was wrong you know. You aren't Calibans pet. No. You're Apocalypse pet" you spat Psylocke snarled swiping at you this time you ducked the strike insteadit hit where your leg was trapped. Now you were free within seconds your shield cocooned you, Psylocke pressed forward pushing you back right on the very edge of the cliff. You looked over your shoulder smiling.

This is going to hurt. Psylocke prepared for one last final attack her weapon bright magenta with energy. You shuffled back; your heels are hanging over the cliff. Just as she lunged forward, you stepped back. The air rushed past you. You closed your eyes grimacing. The sky turned dark for the moment as the shield burned goldenly. Psylocke ran to the edge smiling as the light exploded on impact. The horseman returned to the battle with false triumph believing you were dead.
A/N: This chapter was very confusing for me to write as the film was very full on and it was difficult for me to piece together different scenes while filling on the gaps so I apologise if this isn't exactly how the movie went. School tomorrow 😭 so unfortunately updates will most likely be more slower. But I will post minimum one a week hopefully more 😊 Hope you enjoyed this chapter and thank you for reading👍
