Wonpil stood outside your front door, a bouquet of your favorite flowers in his hands. He clears his throat before mumbling phrases under his breath. With a little shake of his head, he pulls himself together. He gathers his courage and rings your doorbell, causing his heart to race as each second passes.

"Coming!"

At the sound of your voice, his nervousness diminishes. Instead, he finds his lips stretched out into a huge grin. Not a minute later, the door swings open and he feels a gush of wind hit his face. His eyes land on the figure on the other side of the door. He takes in what you're wearing - an oversized sweater and a pair of jeans, paired with white sneakers - and he couldn't help but think how beautiful you are.

"You look, uh," Wonpil stutters, scratching the back of his neck.

You laugh at this. You take in his attire - semi-formal. You shake your head before grabbing his wrist and pulling him into the house. Wonpil stumbles a little but was quick to regain his balance.

"Well, aren't you overdressed?" You tease.

"Well, aren't you underdressed?" He fires back, handing you the bouquet of flowers.

You chuckle at the same time, thanking him for the flowers. You run around the house, grabbing a vase and some water to place the flowers in. Wonpil watches in amusement, helping himself on your couch.

"So, what's the agenda?" You ask, tucking a loose strand of hair behind your ear.

He stands from the couch, pulling something out from his back pocket. He makes his way over to where you stood, forcing a piece of paper onto your palm. You raise your eyebrow before scanning the item in your hand. Your eyes sparkle with joy.

"Are we really going?" You ask, excitement laced in your voice.

"I did promise you, didn't I?" He smiles.

You run up to him, engulfing him in a tight hug. The boy's heart warms at the sight of your smile. He wraps his arms around you as well, placing his chin atop your head. You slowly pull away, a blush plastered on your cheeks. In a second, you were dragging him out of your door and driving toward the amusement park.

.

"Did you have fun?" Wonpil asks, meeting your eyes.

You reach your front porch. You nod as you turn to face him. His hands find its way onto yours for the nth time tonight. Despite the dark night, you could make out the smile on his face.

"I'm glad you had fun." He says, swinging your laced fingers back and forth.

You allow silence to take over for a short while as you both enjoy each other's presence. It was getting late, but you didn't want him to go. However, you respect his time and privacy the same way he does with you.

"You've got to go, the boys will be worried." You giggle, shoving his chest playfully.

"(y/n), do you believe in goodnight kisses on the first date?" He asks, catching you by surprise.

You think about for a moment. He waits for an answer, observing your reaction. Finally, you shake your head. Wonpil laughs at your answer.

"I'm glad we agree." He smiles.

Silence looms once more.

"On the lips, right?" Wonpil asks.

"Huh?"

"You don't believe in kissing on the lips on the first date?" He repeats.

You nod again.

Upon hearing your answer, he was quick to react. He leans forward, hands gripping your shoulders. You let out a yelp as you feel his lips brush against your forehead. He didn't give you time to react, pulling away hastily and giving you a warm smile.

"Well, goodnight, (y/n)."

"Goodnight, Wonpil."

He waves goodbye and walks away from your porch. You stare at his figure that slowly disappeared and drove off. To your surprise, tears fall down your eyes.

But the only difference was it was from happiness this time.
