Sweet peas PoV

"Girls?" "Not so loud Betty's putting lili down for a nap" "oh okay sorry" "hey come here" JB said as she lead me into the kitchen, I put the food down onto the counter and turned around to face JB. She opened her mouth to speak but before she could I captured her lips in mine for a passionate kiss.

"What was that for?" "What I can't kiss my girlfriend how lives hundreds of miles away?" "Well yeah you can and you better but what if Betty sees?" "I know I just missed you to much. I hate hiding this" "I know you do and I do to but you how protective Jug is. He'll kill you if he finds out" "it's 5 years difference" "I know, you know but Jug...all he will see is best mate fouling around with his sister" "but we're not just fouling around" "aren't we?" "What's that supposed to mean?"

"Nothing sweets. It's just...you saw what he was like James, and James wasn't some thug risking his life every day" I wasn't only taken back by what she just called me but I was hurt is that really what she thought I was? Just a thug? "Sweets I didn't-" "yeah got it" I said and walked up stairs.

Betty's PoV

I had just put lili down for a nap, as I was coming out of her room when I ran into sweet pea. He look upset. "Sweet pea? You okay?" "Yeah fine! Why wouldn't I be?" "Hey come on I know you, I know that face. What's wrong?" "It's nothing just leave it!" He said and walked into his room.

Yes sweet pea has his own room. He's stayed here so many times over the years, whether it be for protection or to watch me and to help out jughead, or just to get away from Veronica and fangs.

I followed him in there, he was sat on his bed and I saw a few tears fall down his face. I've only ever seen him cry twice. Once at fps funeral and when his ex girlfriend cheated on him and left him because and I quote 'I don't love you anymore and besides how can anyone love a thug like you'. "Sweets?" I say as I go and sit next to him. "Ya know that girl I...I told you I was seeing?" "Yeah I remember" "well she just called me a thug" "oh sweet pea...I'm sure she didn't mean it" "she did though. I could tell by the look in her eyes" "Come here" I say and pull him into a hug.

After a while he said he was gonna take a nap. Everyone thinks he this big strong man and that nothing gets to him, when in actuality fact, he's a big softie he's just had to act that way all his life, i hear lili start to cry so I go in a see her.

Jellybeans PoV

After sweet pea stomped up stairs I felt really bad. I don't know why he got upset about being called a thug? God I really called him a thug didn't I? Shit! Just then there's a knock at the door. Betty's still upstairs I thought I might as answer it for her. But what I didn't expect on the other side of the door or rather who was on the other side of the door...
