"Red?" "Take her" Archie said holding out his beautiful daughter, letting the tears fall freely.

As jughead and Fp started walking back to the serpents. Betty in Jugheads arms and lili in her grandfathers. Archie pulled out his gun and shouted. "Oh and one more thing" he pointed the gun at .....chic. "Take the trash out for me.

Move!" "Archie you can't be serious" "I said no harm was to come to them! And you stabbed her while she was holding my daughter!!" "I had no choice-" Archie clicked the gun and motioned it for chic to started moving backwards.

"Gun. Now Walk towards the serpents, facing me" "arch please! They'll kill me" "saves me the trouble and besides...Betty needs this more than me"

"Archie?" "Hes yours Betty" "thank you. Archie" "take care of them! Jughead" "I will"

And with that they rushed to the hospital. Betty has lost a lot of blood but the stab wound wasn't to deep and after a blood transfusion and an over night stay both girls were released the next day.

"We're home!" Betty shouted into the house. "Betty? Thank god your okay" Jellybean said as she ran, well tried to, towards Betty and jughead and lili in Betty's arms. "Hey JB, you doing okay?" "Me? I'm not the one just out of hospital with a stab wound" "haha true, but still?"

"I'm okayish. Just hormones everywhere and still getting sick" "aw I'm sorry. Hey with the sickness try ginger beer, non alcoholic of course" "yeah I'll try that thanks" "god the house is a mess..." Betty signed sadly. "We haven't time to clean up yet"

"Speaking of 'we' where is everyone?" "Sweet pea has gone to the store. Fp has gone to the auto shop to work on some of the serpents bikes" "and my mum...?" "No idea" she said sharply.

"Okay..." "right come on you. Your on bed rest for the next couple of days" "I'm fine Jug-" "Betts you were stabbed" "I know, I know but-" "no buts. Now come on " "fine" "see ya later Jellybean" "see ya"

Betty winced as she got into the bed. "You okay?" "Y-yeah. Just still sore that's all she go down okay?" "Yeah, yeah. I'm sorry Betty" "what are you talking about?" "It's my fault. I should of protected you-" "Hey! This isn't your fault, you couldn't of known Jug. No one could have" "that doesn't matter!

I just keep leaving you and they kidnap you, beat you, rape you. I can't protect my own god damn Fiance and daughter! Well she would be I had protected you like I should of!" Jughead said quite fast

"What?! Jughead what the hell are you talking about?!" "I gotta go. I need to do paper work at the wyrm" "Jug-!" Betty shouted after him but he was gone. "What the hell just happened?" Betty asked herself.

(Few days later)

"Hey mum" "hello darling. How are you feeling?" "I'm fine. Worried about jughead though" "why?" "He's been coming home late and going straight to bed and then leaving before I even waken up. I haven't had a conversation with in days and even when I do talk to him it's over text and one or two word answers"

"I'm sure it's nothing, Betty try not to worry" "yeah... hey mum? Could you watch lili for me for a few hours?" "Oh Course hunny. Where you off to?" "Try and clear my head"

as Betty drove to pops she couldn't help but feel like something was going on at home. When ever she mentioned jug to her mum she quickly shut her down and jellybean and sweet pea always walk off when ever Alice goes into a room.

Come to think of it, she hasn't seen them to her either. Oh god what's she done now?!

When Betty got to pops she said a quick hello to the old man and orders a chocolate milkshake.

As she was drinking it she started think about everything that had happened over years since high school. She missed all the wonderful memories she had with the core four.

"Room for a little one?" "Fp? Hey" "hi darling you okay?" "Yeah just...thinking about how different everything is to when we were in high school..." I know what you mean. When all I had to worry about was you two off finding riverdales latest killer" Fp chuckled.

"Fp do you know what's going on with jug? I'm really worried" "yeah. Yeah Betty I do..." as Fp explained everything that had happened between the love of her life and mother. Betty couldn't help but feel angry at her mother for blaming jughead, sad because there was nothing she could do to make her mother take back what she said or make jughead believe that it's not! His fault and stupid, so stupid for not seeing it sooner"
